1. Introduction

4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove all packaging materials.
- Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 24 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle.
4.2 Water Inlet Connection
The KOKEBREN ice maker supports two water inlet modes: direct tap water connection or top-loading with a gallon water bottle.

4.2.1 Tap Water Connection
- Connect the provided water filter to your tap water supply line.
- Attach the water inlet hose from the filter to the designated inlet port on the back of the ice maker.
- Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
4.2.2 Top-Loading Water Bottle
- Place a standard gallon water bottle onto the top-loading dispenser.
- The machine will automatically draw water as needed.
4.3 Drain Hose Connection
Connect the drain hose to the drain outlet on the ice maker and direct it to a suitable drain or container. Ensure the hose has a downward slope for proper drainage.

- Thin Ice (5-8 minutes): Suitable for smoothies or seafood.

5.4 Timer Function
Press the TIMER button to set a reservation for the ice maker to start or stop at a specific time.
