Assembly Video Guide

This video demonstrates the step-by-step assembly process for the ELYKEN Laundry Cart, including connecting frame components, attaching wheels, and installing the liner bag.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Assemble the Upper Frame Sections:
Connect the curved frame tubes (A-1 and A-2) using the provided screws and hex wrench. Repeat this process for the other side using the B tubes. Ensure screws are tightened securely.
  2. Assemble the Lower Support Bars:
Connect the straight frame tubes (H-1, H-2, and I) to form the lower support structure. Use the provided screws (J x4) and hex wrench to secure these connections.
  3. Connect Frame Halves:
Attach the upper frame sections to the lower support bars. Use the connecting bolts (L x2) to join the two main frame halves at the central pivot points. Tighten these bolts with the small wrench to allow for folding while maintaining stability.
  4. Attach the Wheels:
Insert the four universal wheels (G x4) into the designated openings at the bottom of the frame legs. Two of these wheels have brakes. Ensure they are firmly seated.
  5. Install the Liner Bag:
Place the removable liner bag (F x1) over the assembled frame. Ensure the wider end of the bag is positioned correctly. Hang the straps of the liner bag onto the hooks located on the upper frame tubes to prevent slipping. Secure the top edge of the bag using the Velcro reinforcement for a snug fit.

4. Operating Instructions

Using Your Laundry Cart:

  • Loading Laundry: Place dirty clothes and bedding directly into the removable liner bag. The generous capacity (approximately 118L/31.2Gal) can accommodate a large amount of items.
  • Easy Mobility: To move the cart, simply unlock the two braked wheels by flipping the lever to the 'OFF' position. The 360-degree rotating universal wheels allow for smooth and effortless movement across various floor surfaces.
  • Locking in Place: When you need the cart to remain stationary, engage the brakes on the two lockable wheels by flipping the lever to the 'ON' position. This will prevent the cart from rolling.
  • Ergonomic Height: The cart's 33-inch height is designed to minimize bending, making it easier to load and unload laundry, reducing strain on your back.
  • Side Pocket: Utilize the unique side pocket on the liner bag for storing small items such as clothes clips, dryer sheets, or other laundry accessories.

5. Maintenance

  • Liner Bag Care: The removable liner bag is made of high-quality, preshrunk cotton and is machine washable. Wash in cold water with similar colors and tumble dry on low or hang to dry. Do not bleach.
  • Frame Care: Wipe the metal frame with a damp cloth and mild detergent as needed. Dry thoroughly to prevent rust. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
  • Wheel Maintenance: Periodically check the wheels for any lint or debris that may hinder smooth rolling. Clean as necessary. Ensure the wheel brakes are functioning correctly.
  • Fastener Check: Regularly inspect all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if loose to maintain the cart's stability and safety.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Cart is unstable: Ensure all frame connections are securely tightened with the provided hex wrench and small wrench. Verify that the connecting bolts (L) are properly installed and tightened.
  • Wheels not rolling smoothly: Check for any hair, lint, or debris caught in the wheel mechanisms. Clean the wheels thoroughly. Ensure the wheel brakes are disengaged ('OFF' position).
  • Liner bag slipping: Make sure the liner bag straps are securely hooked onto the frame's designated hooks. Confirm the Velcro reinforcement along the top edge is properly fastened.
  • Difficulty folding the cart: Ensure the liner bag is removed. Check that the connecting bolts (L) are not overtightened, allowing the frame to pivot.
