4.2 Installing/Removing Battery

  • To Install: Align the battery pack with the base of the drill handle and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
  • To Remove: Press the battery release buttons on both sides of the battery pack and slide the battery out.

4.3 Installing Drill Bits/Screwdriver Bits

The drill features a 10mm self-locking keyless chuck for quick and easy bit changes.

  1. Rotate the chuck counter-clockwise to open the jaws to the desired size.
  2. Insert the drill bit or screwdriver bit into the chuck, ensuring it is centered.
  3. Rotate the chuck clockwise to tighten the jaws firmly around the bit. Ensure the bit is securely held before operation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

The drill is activated by pressing the trigger switch. The speed is variable depending on the pressure applied to the trigger.

  • To Start: Press the trigger switch.
  • To Stop: Release the trigger switch.
  • Direction Control: Use the forward/reverse switch located above the trigger to select rotation direction. Push left for forward (drilling/screwing in), push right for reverse (screwing out). Center position locks the trigger for safety.

5.2 Speed Selection

The drill features a dual-speed gearbox for optimal performance across different applications.

  • Low Speed (0-450 RPM): Select this speed for screwdriving tasks or when drilling larger holes in softer materials. Use the speed selector switch on top of the drill.
  • High Speed (0-1650 RPM): Select this speed for drilling smaller holes or when working with harder materials.

5.3 Torque Adjustment

The drill offers 25+3 torque settings, allowing precise control for various materials and applications. The maximum torque can reach 45 Nm.

  • Rotate the torque adjustment ring, located behind the chuck, to select the desired setting.
  • Lower torque settings (1-25) are suitable for screwdriving to prevent over-tightening or damaging screw heads.
  • The drill symbol (hammer icon for hammer drill mode) is for drilling applications, providing maximum torque.
