6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and appearance of your UNIKOO shower door.
- Glass Cleaning: Use a soft cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner. For best results, wipe down the glass after each use to prevent water spots and soap scum buildup. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive pads that can scratch the glass or damage protective coatings.
- Hardware Cleaning: Clean stainless steel components with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or cleaners containing ammonia, bleach, or acid, as these can damage the finish.
- Seals: Periodically check the PVC sealant strips for wear or damage. Replace if necessary to maintain a watertight enclosure.
- Rollers and Track: Keep the top track and rollers free of debris and buildup to ensure smooth operation. A small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied to the rollers if they become stiff.
