4. Setup Instructions

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the dispenser from its packaging. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective film.
  2. Placement: Position the dispenser on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 4 inches from walls). Avoid placing it near direct sunlight, heat sources, or in areas with high humidity.
  3. Water Bottle Installation: Clean the neck of a new 3 or 5-gallon water bottle. Remove the cap from the water bottle. Carefully lift the water bottle and place it upright onto the support collar on top of the dispenser. Push down firmly until the bottle's stopper is pierced and water begins to flow into the dispenser's reservoir.
  4. Initial Flush: Before plugging in the unit, dispense at least 1 liter of water from each of the cold and hot spouts to ensure the reservoirs are filled and to flush out any manufacturing residue.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 3-prong electrical outlet.
  6. Activate Heating/Cooling: Locate the hot and cold power switches on the back of the unit. Turn them ON. The corresponding LED indicators on the front panel will illuminate. Allow approximately 15-20 minutes for the water to reach optimal hot and cold temperatures.

5. Operating Instructions

Your VECYS water cooler provides three temperature options: hot, fresh (room temperature), and cold.

  • Dispensing Cold Water: Place your cup under the cold water spout. Press the cold water lever or button. Release to stop the flow.
  • Dispensing Fresh (Room Temperature) Water: Place your cup under the fresh water spout. Press the fresh water lever or button. Release to stop the flow.
  • Dispensing Hot Water (with Child Safety Lock): Place your cup under the hot water spout. Simultaneously press and hold the child safety lock button (usually red) and then press the hot water lever or button. Release both to stop the flow.
  • LED Indicators: The red LED indicates the hot water is heating. The blue LED indicates the cold water is chilling. They will turn off once the desired temperature is reached and cycle on/off to maintain temperature.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and hygiene.

  1. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  2. Drip Tray Cleaning: The drip tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent overflow and bacterial growth. Simply slide out the tray, empty it, wash with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and replace.
  3. Draining the Tanks: Periodically, or before long periods of non-use, drain the hot and cold water tanks. Unplug the unit. Remove the water bottle. Open the drain plugs located at the back or bottom of the unit to empty the tanks. Close the plugs securely before re-installing a water bottle and plugging in the unit.
