1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the SUNPOW 15m Retractable Hose Reel. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your new hose reel. Please read it thoroughly before installation and operation, and keep it for future reference.

The SUNPOW retractable hose reel is designed for convenient and organized watering, preventing tangles and extending hose life. It features an intelligent locking system, automatic rewind, a pulley guide, and a 180° swivel wall mount for optimal flexibility.

  1. Wall Mount: Securely attaches the hose reel to a solid surface.
  2. Portable Handle: For easy carrying when detached from the wall mount.

4. Setup and Installation

The SUNPOW hose reel is designed for wall mounting. Follow these steps for proper installation:

  1. Choose a Location: Select a solid wall (e.g., brick, concrete) near your water source. Ensure there is enough space for the hose reel to swivel 180°.
  2. Mark Drilling Points: Hold the wall bracket against the chosen location and mark the four drilling points. Use a level to ensure the bracket is straight.
  3. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit for your wall material. Insert the provided expansion plugs into the drilled holes.
  4. Attach Wall Bracket: Secure the wall bracket to the wall using the provided bolts. Ensure it is firmly attached.
  5. Mount the Hose Reel: Carefully slide the hose reel onto the wall bracket. It should click securely into place.

  6. Connect to Water Source: Connect the 1.5m inlet hose to your outdoor faucet. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  7. Attach Nozzle: Attach the 10-function spray nozzle to the end of the main hose.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Extending the Hose

  1. Gently pull the hose from the reel to the desired length.
  2. To lock the hose at a specific length, pull it slightly further until you hear a click, then slowly release it. The hose will remain locked.

5.2 Retracting the Hose (Automatic Rewind)

  1. To retract the hose, pull it gently once more until the locking mechanism disengages.
  2. Slowly guide the hose back into the reel. The automatic rewind system will smoothly coil the hose. Do not let go of the hose abruptly.

5.3 Using the 10-Function Nozzle

5.4 180° Swivel Function

The hose reel can pivot up to 180° on its wall mount, allowing you to reach different areas of your garden without repositioning the reel.

7. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Hose does not retract fully.Hose is tangled or obstructed.Pull out the entire hose, untangle any knots, and then guide it back slowly. Ensure the pulley guide is clear.
Hose does not lock at desired length.Locking mechanism is dirty or worn.Pull the hose out completely and retract it a few times to clear any debris. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
Water leaks from connections.Loose connections or damaged washers.Tighten all connections. Check and replace any worn rubber washers.
Low water pressure from nozzle.Nozzle clogged or water source pressure is low.Clean the nozzle. Check your water supply pressure.
