Product Overview

The Soundcore Select 2S is a portable Bluetooth speaker designed for robust audio performance and outdoor use. It features 20W stereo sound, BassUp technology for enhanced bass, and an IPX7 waterproof rating. The speaker offers up to 16 hours of playtime and supports True Wireless Stereo (TWS) pairing for an immersive audio experience.

Setup

Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the Soundcore Select 2S.

1. Locate the USB-C charging port, typically protected by a waterproof flap.
2. Connect the provided USB-C to C cable to the speaker and a compatible USB wall charger (not included).
3. The charging indicator lights will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) for 2 seconds to turn the speaker on or off.

Operating Instructions

Bluetooth Pairing

The Soundcore Select 2S automatically enters Bluetooth pairing mode when powered on for the first time.

1. Turn on your device's Bluetooth.
2. Select "Soundcore Select 2S" from the list of available devices.
3. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will turn solid blue.

To pair with a new device, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds until the indicator flashes blue.

Audio Playback

• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.
• Next Track: Press the Next Track button.
• Previous Track: Press the Previous Track button.
• Volume Up/Down: Press the Volume Up (+) or Volume Down (-) buttons.

BassUp Technology

Activate BassUp mode for enhanced bass. Press the "BassUp" button on the speaker to toggle this feature on or off.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

Pair two Soundcore Select 2S speakers for an immersive stereo sound experience.

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker, press and hold the TWS button for 2 seconds. The TWS indicator will flash white.
3. Repeat on the second speaker.
4. Once connected, the TWS indicators on both speakers will turn solid white.
5. Connect your device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth.

Soundcore App Control

Download the Soundcore app for additional features, including a customizable 9-band EQ.

The app allows for personalized sound profiles and firmware updates.

Maintenance

Waterproofing (IPX7)

The Soundcore Select 2S is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

Important:

• Ensure the rubber cover for the charging port is securely sealed before exposing the speaker to water.
• Do not expose the speaker to saltwater or other chemicals.
• After exposure to water, dry the speaker thoroughly before charging.

Cleaning

Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

Cannot Power On

Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and try again.

Cannot Pair via Bluetooth

• Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (Bluetooth indicator flashing blue).
• Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range (up to 60 meters).
• Forget "Soundcore Select 2S" from your device's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
• Reset the speaker by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for 8 seconds.

No Sound or Low Volume

• Adjust the volume on both the speaker and your connected device.
• Ensure the speaker is properly connected via Bluetooth.
• If using TWS, ensure both speakers are correctly paired.

Poor Sound Quality

• Move the speaker closer to your device to reduce interference.
• Avoid obstacles between the speaker and your device.
• Try disabling BassUp mode if the sound is distorted at high volumes.
