Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the GYI M208 Office Chair is designed to be straightforward. All necessary tools are typically included with the chair.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the assembly guide are present.
2. Attach Casters to Base: Insert the dual rubber casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the heavy-duty metal base. Push firmly until they click into place.

3. Install Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled base.
4. Attach Seat Mechanism: Secure the seat mechanism to the underside of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure the front of the mechanism aligns with the front of the seat.
5. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring it is centered and stable.
6. Attach Backrest: Align the backrest with the mounting points on the seat mechanism and secure it with the remaining screws.
7. Attach Armrests: Fasten the armrests to the designated points on the seat and backrest using the provided hardware.
8. Final Check: Once assembled, gently test all connections and adjustments to ensure stability and proper function.

Operating Instructions

The GYI M208 Office Chair offers several adjustment options for personalized comfort:

• Seat Height Adjustment: Locate the lever on the right side beneath the seat. Pull the lever upwards to raise the seat. To lower, remain seated and pull the lever upwards. Release the lever at the desired height.
• Lumbar Support Adjustment: The lumbar support can be adjusted for optimal back comfort. Use the knob located on the backrest to increase or decrease the lumbar curve.

• Armrest Height Adjustment: Press the button on the side of each armrest and move the armrest up or down to your preferred height. Release the button to lock it in place.

• Rocking Function: The chair features a natural rocking motion between 90° and 125°. To enable or disable this function, use the tension knob located beneath the seat. Adjust the tension to control the ease of rocking.
