2. Setup

2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Battery Installation

The lock box operates on 3 AAA batteries (included). For extended operation, CR123A batteries can also be used, offering up to 24 months of life compared to 12 months for AAA batteries (based on 10 unlocks per day).

  1. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the underside or rear of the device.
  2. Unscrew the battery compartment screw to open the cover.
  3. Insert the 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

2.4 App Installation and Pairing

To utilize smart features, download the 'Smart Life' app and pair your device:

  1. Download the 'Smart Life' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
  2. Register or log in to your Smart Life account.
  3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
  4. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device. The app will guide you through the pairing process for the Sepox Smart Key Lock Box.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Unlocking Methods

The lock box supports multiple unlocking methods for convenience and security.

3.1.1 Keypad Unlock

Enter your pre-set passcode on the keypad. The lock box will open upon correct entry. The keypad supports up to 100 custom passwords.

3.1.2 Bluetooth App Unlock

Ensure your smartphone is within Bluetooth range of the lock box and the 'Smart Life' app is open. Use the app interface to send an unlock command.

3.1.3 Temporary Passcodes

Generate temporary passcodes via the 'Smart Life' app for guests or service providers. These codes can be time-limited or single-use, providing flexible access without requiring app access for the recipient.
