1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the YASHE 9L Dual Basket Air Fryer. This appliance is designed to provide a healthier and more efficient way to cook your favorite meals with minimal oil. Featuring two independent cooking zones and a total capacity of 9 liters, it allows for simultaneous preparation of different dishes. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure proper operation, maintenance, and safety.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before operating the appliance.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the main unit in water or other liquid.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
  • Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
  • The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
  • Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
  • Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
  • Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
  • Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to allow adequate air circulation.
  • Do not block any ventilation openings.

3.2 Control Panel

The digital touchscreen LED panel provides intuitive control over all functions:

  • Power Button: Turns the appliance on/off.
  • Temperature Control (+/-): Adjusts cooking temperature (80°C-200°C).
  • Time Control (+/-): Adjusts cooking time.
  • L/R Basket Selection: Selects the left or right basket for individual control.
  • SYNC FINISH Button: Synchronizes the cooking end time for both baskets.
  • Pre-set Program Icons: Selects one of the 8 pre-programmed cooking functions.
  • Start/Pause Button: Initiates or pauses the cooking cycle.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials and any promotional labels from the air fryer. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport if needed.

4.2 Initial Cleaning

Before first use, clean the baskets and grill plates with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are dry before assembly.

4.3 Placement

Place the air fryer on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 15 cm (6 inches) of clear space around the back and sides of the appliance to allow for proper air circulation.

4.4 First Use (Burn-off Cycle)

It is recommended to run a short burn-off cycle before cooking food for the first time. This helps to eliminate any manufacturing odors.

  1. Insert the clean baskets and grill plates into the main unit.
  2. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
  3. Press the Power button to turn on the appliance.
  4. Set the temperature to 200°C and the time to 10 minutes for both baskets.
  5. Press the Start button.
  6. A slight odor may be present during this initial use; this is normal.
  7. Once the cycle is complete, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  1. Place the grill plates into the baskets.
  2. Add your ingredients to the baskets. Do not overfill.
  3. Insert the baskets firmly into the main unit.
  4. Plug in the appliance and press the Power button.
  5. Select the desired basket (L or R) or both.
  6. Adjust the temperature using the Temperature +/- buttons.
  7. Adjust the cooking time using the Time +/- buttons.
  8. Press the Start/Pause button to begin cooking.
  9. During cooking, the appliance may beep to remind you to shake or flip food for even results.
  10. When cooking is complete, the appliance will beep. Carefully remove the baskets and transfer food.

5.2 Using Dual Zones

The YASHE Air Fryer features two independent 4.5L cooking zones, allowing you to cook different foods at different temperatures and times simultaneously.

To operate independently:

  1. Load food into both baskets.
  2. Press the Power button.
  3. Select the Left basket (L) and set its temperature and time. Press Start.
  4. Select the Right basket (R) and set its temperature and time. Press Start.
  5. Both baskets will cook according to their individual settings.

5.3 SYNC FINISH Function

The SYNC FINISH function ensures that both baskets complete their cooking cycles at the same time, even if they have different cooking times and temperatures.

  1. Load food into both baskets.
  2. Press the Power button.
  3. Select the Left basket (L) and set its temperature and time.
  4. Select the Right basket (R) and set its temperature and time.
  5. Press the SYNC FINISH button. The appliance will automatically adjust the start times for each basket so they finish simultaneously.
  6. Press the Start/Pause button to begin the synchronized cooking.

5.4 Pre-set Programs

The air fryer includes 8 pre-set programs for common foods. Simply select the desired icon, and the appliance will automatically set the optimal temperature and time.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.

6.1 Before Cleaning

Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.

6.2 Cleaning Baskets and Grill Plates

The non-stick baskets and grill plates are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Ensure all food residue is removed.

6.3 Cleaning the Main Unit

Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. For the interior, gently wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary, then wipe with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

6.4 Removable Filter Pad

Each basket is equipped with a removable filter pad at the bottom to help collect excess grease. Clean these pads regularly along with the baskets.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your YASHE Air Fryer, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
