Operating Modes
The dehumidifier offers three smart modes:
Figure 6.1: Illustration of the three operating modes: Dry, Dehu, and Cont, suitable for different environments.
- DEHU Mode (Dehumidify): Ideal for general humidity control in living spaces. In this mode, you can set your desired humidity level between 30% and 80% RH. The unit will operate until the set humidity is reached, then cycle on and off to maintain it.
- DRY Mode (Clothes Drying): Provides continuous high-power dehumidification to quickly dry clothes. Place the unit near clothes hanging on a rack for best results.
- CONT Mode (Continuous): Suitable for consistently damp areas like basements. The unit will run continuously regardless of the humidity level. This mode is best used with continuous drainage.
Press the Mode button to cycle through these options.
Setting Desired Humidity (DEHU Mode)
- In DEHU mode, press the Humi button to adjust the target humidity level. Each press increases the setting by 5% RH, from 30% to 80%.
- The unit will automatically turn off when the room humidity drops below the set level and restart when it rises above it.

Fan Speed Adjustment
- Press the Speed button to toggle between High and Low fan speeds.

7. Drainage Options
Your VEAGASO dehumidifier offers two drainage methods:
Figure 7.1: Illustration of the manual drainage by removing the water tank and continuous drainage using the included hose.
Manual Drainage (Water Tank)
The unit will automatically stop when the 2-liter water tank is full. To empty:
- Gently pull out the water tank from the front of the unit.
- Carefully carry the tank to a sink or drain.
- Pour out the collected water.
- Slide the empty water tank back into the dehumidifier until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.
Continuous Drainage (Drain Hose)
For uninterrupted operation, especially in very damp environments or when using CONT mode, you can connect the included drain hose:
- Locate the continuous drainage outlet on the back of the dehumidifier.
- Remove the rubber stopper from the outlet.
- Firmly attach one end of the drain hose to the outlet.
- Direct the other end of the hose to a suitable floor drain or large container, ensuring the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.
- Ensure the hose is not kinked or blocked to prevent water backup.
8. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your dehumidifier.
Cleaning the Air Filter
The washable air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
- Locate the filter cover on the back of the unit.
- Gently pull out the filter.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before re-installing. Do not use a dishwasher.
- Once dry, slide the filter back into its slot.
