Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your camping stove.

  • Cleaning: After each use, ensure the stove is completely cool. Remove the burner grates and the drip tray. Wash these components with warm, soapy water. Wipe the stainless steel surfaces of the stove with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can damage the finish.
  • Drip Tray: The removable drip tray facilitates easy cleaning of grease and food residues. Empty and clean it regularly.
  • Storage: Store the clean and dry stove in its original carry case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure gas cartridges are removed before storage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Amig Portable Double Camping Stove, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Burner Not Lighting:
    • Check if the gas cartridge is correctly installed and the locking lever is fully engaged.
    • Ensure the gas cartridge is not empty.
    • Verify that the control knob is turned to the 'IGNITE' position.
    • Check if the igniter spark is visible. If not, the igniter may be faulty or obstructed.
  • Weak Flame or Irregular Flame:
    • The gas cartridge may be running low. Replace it with a new one.
    • Ensure the gas cartridge is not too cold, which can reduce gas pressure.
    • Check for any obstructions in the burner ports. Clean if necessary.
  • Gas Leak Smell:
    • Immediately turn off the stove and remove the gas cartridge.
    • Move the stove to a well-ventilated area.
    • Perform a leak check using soapy water on all connections. If bubbles appear, do not use the stove and contact customer support.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact Amig customer support for assistance.
