5. Features

  • Enhanced Stability: The low-profile design contributes to a lower center of gravity, significantly improving the stability of the microphone arm. This design helps maintain a fixed microphone position, preventing shaking or shifting during use, which is crucial for clear, noise-free recordings.
  • Flexible Positioning: Both arm sections offer 360-degree rotation, and the microphone attachment point allows for 180-degree vertical swing. This flexibility ensures the microphone can be adjusted to any desired position, regardless of the base's location.
  • Reduced Visual Obstruction: The arm is designed to extend below the computer screen, minimizing its presence in your field of view. This feature helps maintain focus on your work or entertainment content.
  • Integrated Cable Management: The arm includes a hidden channel and detachable lock catches to route and secure microphone cables, contributing to a clean and organized setup.

7. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Aokeo AK-55 microphone arm stand, consider the following maintenance tips:

  • Regular Cleaning: Wipe the arm and base with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Check Connections: Periodically inspect all screws and joints to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten any loose connections using the provided Allen key or appropriate tools to maintain stability.
  • Cable Management: Ensure cables are properly routed through the integrated channels and secured with the detachable lock catches to prevent strain or damage to the cables and the arm.
  • Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 2 KG (4.4 lbs) to prevent damage to the arm and ensure stable microphone support.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Aokeo AK-55 microphone arm stand, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Problem: The microphone arm does not hold its position or sags.
Solution: Ensure all adjustment screws on the arm joints and the microphone attachment point are securely tightened. Use the Allen key to tighten the locking holes on the base and arm joints if necessary. Verify that the microphone weight does not exceed the 2 KG (4.4 lbs) maximum load capacity.
  • Problem: The desk clamp feels unstable or moves.
Solution: Confirm that the desk clamp is fully tightened to the table. Ensure your table thickness is within the specified limit of 70mm (2.75 inches). If the table surface is very smooth, consider adding a non-slip pad between the clamp and the table.
  • Problem: Cables are not staying in the management channels.
Solution: Ensure the detachable lock catches are properly installed and snapped into place over the cables. If cables are too thick, they may not fit securely.
