Safety Information

  • Always operate the machine in a well-ventilated area to dissipate fumes from powder curing.
  • Ensure the machine is placed on a stable, level surface.
  • Keep hands and loose clothing away from moving parts, especially during operation.
  • Do not touch heated surfaces during or immediately after operation to avoid burns.
  • Use only recommended DTF powder and film.
  • Disconnect power before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
  • Keep children and pets away from the operating machine.

Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Inspect for any signs of damage during transit. Retain all packaging materials for future transport or service needs.

2. Placement

Place the DTF Powder Shaker and Dryer Machine on a sturdy, flat surface capable of supporting its weight. Ensure adequate clearance around the machine for ventilation and access, especially at the film entry and exit points. Maintain a safe distance from flammable materials.

3. Power Connection

Connect the power cable to the machine's power input and then to a grounded electrical outlet. Verify that the power supply matches the machine's requirements (voltage and frequency).

4. Film and Powder Loading

  • Load DTF Film: Carefully feed the DTF film into the designated film entry slot, ensuring it is aligned correctly and free of wrinkles. Follow the machine's guides for proper film path.
  • Add DTF Powder: Open the powder hopper and pour the DTF adhesive powder into it. Ensure the powder is evenly distributed and does not exceed the maximum fill line. Close the hopper securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On

Flip the main power switch to the "ON" position. The control panel should illuminate.

2. Set Temperature and Speed

  • Curing Temperature: Adjust the curing oven temperature using the control panel. Refer to your DTF powder manufacturer's recommendations for optimal curing temperature, typically between 140°C - 160°C (284°F - 320°F). Allow the oven to preheat to the set temperature.
  • Shaking Speed: Adjust the powder shaking intensity or speed as needed. A moderate speed is usually sufficient to ensure even powder distribution without excessive waste.
  • Film Feed Speed: Set the film feeding speed. This should be synchronized with your DTF printer's output speed to ensure a continuous workflow.

3. Start Operation

Once the curing oven reaches the desired temperature and all settings are configured, press the "START" button. The machine will begin to feed the film, apply powder, shake off excess, and then pass the film through the curing oven.

4. Monitoring and Adjustment

Continuously monitor the film as it passes through the machine. Check for even powder application and proper curing. Adjust temperature or speed settings if necessary to achieve optimal results. The cured film should exit the machine ready for transfer.

5. Power Off

When printing is complete, press the "STOP" button and then turn off the main power switch. Allow the machine to cool down before cleaning or further handling.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your MZK A3 DTF Powder Shaker and Dryer Machine. Always disconnect the power before performing any maintenance.

1. Daily Maintenance

  • Clean Excess Powder: After each use, carefully remove any accumulated excess DTF powder from the collection tray and internal components. Use a soft brush or vacuum designed for fine powders.
  • Wipe Surfaces: Wipe down all external surfaces with a dry, lint-free cloth to prevent powder buildup.

2. Weekly Maintenance

  • Inspect Film Path: Check the film path for any powder residue or obstructions that could affect film movement. Clean as necessary.
  • Check Heating Elements: Visually inspect the curing oven's heating elements for any damage or excessive buildup.
  • Lubricate Moving Parts: Apply a small amount of appropriate lubricant to any designated moving parts as per the manufacturer's guidelines (if applicable).

3. Powder Storage

Store DTF powder in a cool, dry place, sealed in its original packaging to prevent moisture absorption and clumping.
