The DST-550 features a 5-way pickup selector switch and an independent toggle switch, offering 7 distinct tone options. This system allows you to switch between the humbucker and two single-coil ThunderForge pickups, providing a range of sounds from classic clean to modern high-gain.

• Position 1 (Neck): Activates the neck single-coil pickup for warm, mellow tones.
• Position 2 (Neck + Middle): Combines the neck and middle single-coil pickups for a bright, articulate sound.
• Position 3 (Middle): Activates the middle single-coil pickup for balanced, clear tones.
• Position 4 (Middle + Bridge): Combines the middle single-coil and bridge humbucker pickups for a fuller, punchier sound.
• Position 5 (Bridge): Activates the bridge humbucker pickup for powerful, high-output tones.
• Independent Toggle Switch: Engages additional tone options, including single-coil mode for classic clarity.

4.2 Volume and Tone Controls

Use the volume knob to adjust the overall output level of the guitar. The tone knobs allow you to shape the treble frequencies, providing further control over your sound.

4.3 Using the Tremolo Bridge

The two-point locking tremolo bridge allows for pitch bending effects. Gently push or pull the tremolo arm to raise or lower the pitch of the strings. Use sparingly to maintain tuning stability.

5.1 Cleaning the Guitar
