Setup and Adjustment

1. Interpupillary Distance Adjustment

Hold the binoculars with both hands and look through them. Adjust the distance between the two barrels by moving them closer or further apart until you see a single, clear circular field of view. This ensures both eyes are aligned with the optical path.

2. Focusing

  1. Close your right eye and focus on a distant object using the central focus wheel until the image in your left eye is sharp.
  2. Open your right eye and close your left eye. Adjust the diopter ring on the right eyepiece until the image is sharp.
  3. Your binoculars are now adjusted for your eyes. For future use, only the central focus wheel will be needed to focus on objects at varying distances.

3. Eyecup Adjustment

If you wear eyeglasses, twist the eyecups down to bring your eyes closer to the lenses. If you do not wear eyeglasses, twist the eyecups up for comfortable viewing.

4. Attaching the Neck Strap

Thread the provided ultralight telescope strap through the strap loops on each side of the binoculars. Securely fasten the strap to prevent accidental drops.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning Lenses

Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lenses. For stubborn smudges, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optics. Avoid using abrasive materials or excessive force, as this can scratch the lens coatings.

2. Storage

When not in use, store your binoculars in the protective carrying bag in a cool, dry place. Ensure lens caps are in place to protect the optics from dust and scratches.

3. Waterproof and Fog-proof Care

While your binoculars are waterproof and fog-proof, it is recommended to wipe off any moisture after exposure to rain or humidity before storing them to maintain their condition.

Troubleshooting

1. Blurry Image

Ensure both the central focus wheel and the right diopter ring are correctly adjusted for your vision. Re-adjust the interpupillary distance if the field of view appears as two overlapping circles.

2. Difficulty Focusing

Make sure the objective lens and eyepiece covers are removed. Check for any obstructions on the lenses and clean them if necessary.
