4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Setup

4. Position the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and precipitation for accurate readings. Ensure it is within 100 meters of the main unit.

4.2 Wi-Fi Connection

To enable automatic time/date updates and 5-day forecasts, connect your weather station to Wi-Fi. Note: Wi-Fi connection requires the station to be powered by the AC adapter.

1. Power the weather station using the provided AC adapter.
2. Connect your mobile phone to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. (5 GHz networks are not supported).
3. Download the Tuya Smart application from your phone's app store.
4. Enable Bluetooth on your phone. The phone will detect the weather station device.
5. If the app does not find the weather station, press and hold the 'Down' button on the right side of the weather station for approximately 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi icon on the screen flashes. Then, click on the device in the app to proceed with the connection.
6. Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted in the app.
7. Wait for the connection to establish. A stable Wi-Fi icon on the weather station screen indicates a successful connection.

5.1 Display Navigation

The weather station's color display provides various information at a glance. Use the buttons on the device to navigate settings and view different data points.

5.2 Adjusting Backlight Brightness

When the weather station is powered by the AC adapter, you can adjust the backlight brightness:

• Press the designated button (refer to your device's physical buttons, usually labeled 'Light' or similar) to cycle through the four brightness levels: 10%, 40%, 70%, and 100%.

In battery mode, the screen will illuminate for 15 seconds when a button is pressed, then turn off to conserve power.

5.3 Setting Alarms

Alarms can be configured through the Tuya Smart mobile application:

1. Open the Tuya Smart app on your connected mobile device.
2. Select your jely Weather Station from the device list.
3. Navigate to the alarm settings section within the app.
4. Set up to three alarms with desired times and snooze options.

5.4 Using the Mobile App (Tuya Smart)

The Tuya Smart app allows you to:

• Wi-Fi Connection Issues:
