To power on the walkie talkie, rotate the top knob clockwise. Continue rotating to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and power off the device.
2. Channel Selection
The G1pro features 22 FRS channels and 99 CTCSS (Continuous Tone-Coded Squelch System) tones. Use the MENU button to access channel settings and the up/down arrow buttons to select your desired channel and CTCSS tone. This allows for up to 2178 combinations to minimize interference.
3. Push-to-Talk (PTT) Button
To transmit, press and hold the large PTT button located on the side of the walkie talkie. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the button to listen for a response.
4. VOX (Voice-Activated Transmission)
The VOX function allows for hands-free operation. When activated, the radio transmits automatically when it detects your voice. The G1pro offers 3 sensitivity levels for VOX. Refer to the full user manual for detailed instructions on activating and adjusting VOX sensitivity.
5. High/Low Power Selection
The G1pro allows you to select between high (2W) and low (0.5W) power output. High power provides greater communication distance but consumes more battery. Low power is more energy-efficient for shorter distances.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Wipe the radio's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure all ports are dry before charging.
2. Water and Dust Protection
The Gaswei G1pro is IP67 rated, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. While highly durable, avoid prolonged submersion or exposure to high-pressure water jets to maintain its integrity.
