1. Setup
1.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the Fuzion Digital Kitchen Scale from its packaging. Inspect the scale for any signs of damage. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
1.2 Powering the Scale
The scale offers multiple power options:
- AAA Batteries: Insert the two included AAA batteries into the battery compartment located on the underside of the scale. Ensure correct polarity.
- Built-in Rechargeable Battery: The scale has a built-in rechargeable battery.
- USB-C Cable: Connect the included USB-C cable to the scale's USB-C port and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The scale can operate while charging.

1.3 Initial Placement
Place the scale on a flat, stable, and level surface to ensure accurate measurements. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces, or near strong electromagnetic fields.
2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Turning On/Off
- To Turn On: Press the ON/TARE button. The display will show "0.0" when ready.
- To Turn Off: Press and hold the ON/TARE button for a few seconds, or wait for the automatic shut-off.
2.2 Unit Conversion
The scale supports 7 units of measurement: grams (g), ounces (oz), fluid ounces (fl.oz), pounds (lb), pounds:ounces (lb:oz), milliliters (ml), and kilograms (kg).
- Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available units. The selected unit will be displayed on the LCD screen.

2.3 Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the weight of the ingredients.
- Place an empty container on the scale. The display will show its weight.
- Press the ON/TARE button. The display will reset to "0.0".
- Add ingredients to the container. The display will now show only the weight of the ingredients.

2.4 Piece Counting Function (PCS)
This function is useful for counting small, uniform items.
- Turn on the scale and ensure it reads "0.0".
- Press and hold the PCS button until a sample size (e.g., "25", "50", "75", "100") flashes on the display.
- Press the UNIT button to select the desired sample size (25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces).
- Place the exact number of sample pieces (e.g., 25 pieces) onto the scale.
- Press the PCS button again to confirm the sample. The display will show "PCS" and the number of pieces.
- You can now add more items, and the scale will count them based on the sample.
- To exit PCS mode, press the PCS button again.

2.5 Hold Function
The Hold function locks the weight reading on the display, which is useful when weighing large items that might obscure the screen.
- Place the item on the scale.
- Press the HOLD button. The weight reading will lock on the display, and a "HOLD" indicator may appear.
- You can now remove the item, and the weight will remain displayed.
- To release the hold, press the HOLD button again or the ON/TARE button.

2.6 Custom Auto-Off
The scale features an automatic shut-off to conserve battery life. You can customize this setting:
- Default: Auto-off after 180 seconds (3 minutes) of inactivity.
- Option 1: Auto-off after 300 seconds (5 minutes) of inactivity.
- Option 2: Never automatically shut off.

3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
The scale features a durable tempered glass and stainless steel surface, making it easy to clean.
- Wipe the scale surface with a soft, damp cloth.

- Ensure the scale is completely dry before storage or next use.

3.2 Storage
