Setup and Assembly

The Disc Plow is designed for bolt-on installation and comes with all necessary mounting hardware. Professional installation is recommended. Follow these steps for proper assembly:

• Unpacking: Carefully unpack all components. Verify that all parts listed in the package content are present.
• Disc Assembly: The eight 12-inch notched disc blades are pre-assembled on hangers. Attach these disc hangers to the crossbar using the provided U-bolts, nuts, and locking pins. Ensure the outside disc hanger is approximately 1 to 1.5 inches from the end of the crossbar. Hand-tighten initially, then use a 9/16-inch socket with a 12-inch extension for the bottom nuts, and fully tighten all nuts.
• Hitch Attachment: Connect the height and depth receiver hitch to the crossbar. Secure it with the 5/8-inch pin and cotter pin.
• Vehicle Connection: Attach the assembled disc plow to your ATV or UTV's 2-inch receiver.

The disc plow is primarily used for tillage and soil treatment. Its design, featuring eight 12-inch notched disc blades with a 15-degree blade angle of attack, ensures efficient cutting and soil preparation. It effectively plows and deep tills the soil, removes weeds, and improves soil texture, creating optimal conditions for planting.

• Initial Depth Setting: When starting to plow, always begin with the minimum possible depth, where the discs just barely touch the ground. This prevents excessive strain on your machine.
• Adjusting Depth: The height and depth adjustment mechanism allows you to control how deep the discs penetrate the soil. Adjust as needed based on soil conditions and desired tillage depth.
• Travel Mode: For transport, the disc plow can be inverted to keep the discs out of the way, especially useful for ATVs/UTVs without a dedicated cargo bed.
