Setup

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
  2. Unfold Legs: Place the fire pit on a flat, stable surface. Unfold the legs until they are securely locked into position. The additional supporting legs will keep the fire pit steady.

  3. Place Lava Rocks: Distribute the provided lava rocks evenly around the burner ring inside the fire pit. Important: Do not completely cover the burner with lava rocks when igniting.

  4. Connect Propane Tank: Place a 20 lbs propane cylinder (not included) on the tank seat. Connect the gas hose from the fire pit to the propane cylinder. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.

Operating Instructions

  1. Gas Supply: Slowly open the valve on the propane cylinder.
  2. Ignition: Turn the adjustment knob on the fire pit counter-clockwise to the "IGNITE" position. Press and hold the knob to activate the igniter. You should hear a click and see the flame ignite. If it does not ignite on the first attempt, release the knob, wait 5 minutes, and repeat the process.

  3. Adjusting Flame: Once ignited, continue to hold the knob for 10-15 seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up. Release the knob. You can then rotate the adjustment knob to increase or decrease the flame intensity to your desired heat output (up to 58,000 BTU).

  4. Using the Grill: For cooking, place the removable cast iron grill over the fire pit. It is recommended to use a container (such as a tinfoil bowl) to hold the food and then heat it up instead of putting the food directly on the grill for heating.

  5. Shutting Down: To turn off the fire pit, rotate the adjustment knob clockwise to the "OFF" position. Close the valve on the propane cylinder. Allow the fire pit to cool completely before handling or storing.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Ensure the fire pit is completely cool before cleaning. Wipe down exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Lava Rocks: Periodically inspect lava rocks for debris. They can be rinsed with water and allowed to dry completely before being placed back in the fire pit.
  • Storage: When not in use, especially during off-season, store the fire pit in a dry, protected area. Use the included carrying bag to protect it from dust and moisture. The foldable legs simplify storage and transport.

  • Inspections: Regularly check the gas hose and connections for any signs of wear, damage, or leaks. If a leak is suspected, turn off the gas supply immediately and do not operate the fire pit.

Troubleshooting
