5. Setup and Installation

Please read all instructions carefully before beginning installation. If you are unsure about any part of the installation process, consult a qualified electrician.

Safety Precautions:

• Always turn off power at the circuit breaker before installation.
• Ensure all wiring connections are secure and comply with local electrical codes.
• Do not exceed the specified voltage or wattage.

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Ceiling:

   Determine the desired location for your recessed light. Using a hole saw, cut a circular hole in the ceiling. For the 7-inch model, the recommended hole diameter is approximately 6.25 inches (159 mm). Refer to the included template or product packaging for the exact cutting size.

2. Connect the Wires:

   Open the junction box cover. Connect the household electrical wires (live, neutral, ground) to the corresponding wires inside the junction box using the provided wire connectors. Ensure all connections are tight and secure. Close the junction box cover.

3. Select Color Temperature (CCT):

   Before mounting, locate the CCT selection switch on the side of the junction box. Choose your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, or 6000K) by sliding the switch to the appropriate setting.

4. Connect the Light Panel:

   Connect the cable from the recessed light fixture to the cable extending from the junction box. Ensure the connection is firm and secure.

5. Mount the Light:

   Gently push the junction box into the ceiling hole. Then, fold the spring clips on the recessed light fixture upwards and push the light into the hole. The spring clips will secure the light firmly against the ceiling.

Once installed, restore power at the circuit breaker and test the light.

6. Operating Instructions

Adjusting Color Temperature (CCT):

The color temperature of your POWERASIA recessed light can be adjusted using the switch located on the side of the junction box. Before installation, or if you need to change the CCT after installation, carefully access the junction box and slide the switch to your desired setting (2700K, 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, or 6000K).

Dimming Functionality:

These recessed lights are compatible with most standard LED dimmers, allowing for smooth dimming from 5% to 100% brightness. Connect the lights to a compatible dimmer switch (not included) to control the light intensity. Refer to your dimmer switch's instructions for proper operation.

7. Maintenance

POWERASIA LED Recessed Lights are designed for long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance.

• Cleaning: Ensure the power is off before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to wipe the surface of the light fixture. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
• Bulb Replacement: These LED fixtures have an integrated light source and do not require bulb replacement. The estimated lifespan is 50,000 hours.
