5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Halot Mage S 14K 3D Printer Operation
- Prepare Model: Import your 3D model (STL, OBJ, 3MF) into the Creality slicing software.
- Slice Settings: Configure print settings such as layer height, exposure time, lift speed, and support structures. The Halot Mage S 14K supports high-resolution printing with 13320x5120px resolution and 16.8x24.8µm pixel size.
- "Dynax+" Mode: For faster printing, enable the "Dynax+" mode, which can boost print speed up to 150mm/h.
- Save to USB: Save the sliced file (.cxdlp or similar) to the USB disk.
- Add Resin: Pour resin into the resin vat, ensuring it does not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Start Print: Insert the USB disk into the printer. Select your file from the touchscreen interface and start the print.
- Monitoring: Monitor the printing process. The printer features a smart air purifier to reduce VOCs during printing.
- Post-Print: Once printing is complete, carefully remove the build plate.

7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Print Fails to Adhere to Build Plate | Improper leveling, insufficient bottom exposure time, cold resin, dirty build plate. | Re-level the build plate. Increase bottom exposure time. Warm resin to room temperature. Clean build plate thoroughly with IPA. |
| Partial Prints or Missing Layers | Insufficient normal exposure time, FEP film damage, resin contamination, Z-axis issues. | Increase normal exposure time. Inspect and replace FEP film if damaged. Filter resin. Check Z-axis for obstructions or looseness. |
| Washing Not Effective | Cleaning solution is saturated, insufficient washing time, incorrect solution. | Replace cleaning solution. Increase washing time. Ensure correct cleaning solution (e.g., 95% IPA) is used. |
| Curing Not Complete / Sticky Surface | Insufficient curing time, model not fully dry after washing, UV lamps dirty or faulty. | Increase curing time. Ensure model is completely dry before curing. Clean UV lamps. |
| Printer Not Responding | Power issue, firmware error, touchscreen malfunction. | Check power connections. Restart the printer. Update firmware via USB. Contact support if issues persist. |
