3.1. Package Contents

4. Setup and First Use
4.1. Charging the Hearing Aids
Before first use, fully charge your hearing aids and the charging case.
- Place the hearing aids into the charging case, ensuring they are correctly seated in their respective slots (L for left, R for right).
- Connect the USB cable to the charging case and a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The digital display on the charging case will indicate the charging status. A full charge for the hearing aids takes approximately 2 hours. The charging case itself can store up to 80 hours of power, providing 3 full charges for the hearing aids.

4.2. Selecting and Attaching Ear Tips
Choosing the correct ear tip size is crucial for comfort and optimal sound quality. Experiment with the provided open and closed ear tips to find the best fit for your ear canal.
- Gently remove the pre-assembled ear tip if it does not fit comfortably.
- Select an ear tip size that feels snug but not tight, ensuring a good seal in your ear canal.
- Carefully push the chosen ear tip onto the receiver of the hearing aid until it is securely attached.
4.3. Wearing the Hearing Aids
The RIC design ensures the hearing aid body sits discreetly behind your ear, with the thin wire and receiver placed inside your ear canal.
- Hold the hearing aid with the ear tip facing your ear canal.
- Gently insert the ear tip into your ear canal until it feels secure.
- Position the main body of the hearing aid behind your ear, ensuring the wire rests comfortably along the curve of your ear.
5. Operating Instructions
Your Tomore TM-5118L hearing aids feature intuitive controls for volume adjustment and mode switching.

5.1. Power On/Off
- To turn ON: Press and hold the toggle switch for approximately 5 seconds.
- To turn OFF: Press and hold the toggle switch for approximately 5 seconds.
5.2. Volume Adjustment
The hearing aids offer 6 levels of volume adjustment.
- To increase volume: Quickly press the toggle switch.
- To decrease volume: Quickly press the toggle switch.
- There are 6 volume levels. Volume 6 is the maximum.
5.3. Switching Modes
Your hearing aids offer three distinct listening modes:

- To switch between modes: Press and hold the toggle switch for approximately 3 seconds. The device will cycle through the modes.
- Normal Listening Mode: Suitable for daily life, ideal for most common listening environments like watching TV.
- Noise Reduction Mode: Designed for public places, parties, airplanes, or other noisy environments. This mode effectively filters out background noise.
- Tinnitus Masking Mode: This mode helps relieve tinnitus without amplifying sound, suitable for tinnitus sufferers or those who wish to reduce sensitivity to surrounding sounds.
Note: The hearing aids intelligently adjust amplification based on the environment, expanding your hearing comfort zone.
6. Maintenance and Care
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your hearing aids.
6.1. Daily Cleaning
- After each use, gently wipe the hearing aids and ear tips with a soft, dry cloth.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any earwax or debris from the ear tips and sound outlet.
- Do not use water, solvents, or cleaning solutions directly on the hearing aids.
6.2. Replacing Wax Guards
Regularly check and replace the wax guards to prevent earwax buildup from blocking the sound. Replace them as needed, typically every few weeks depending on earwax production.
- Use the wax guard tool provided. The tool has two ends: one with a new wax guard and one for removing the old one.
- Insert the empty end of the tool into the old wax guard on the hearing aid and pull it out.
- Flip the tool and insert the new wax guard into the hearing aid's sound outlet until it clicks into place.
6.3. Storage
- When not in use, store your hearing aids in the charging case to protect them and keep them charged.
- Store the charging case and hearing aids in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
