Setup Instructions
1. Charging the Controller
Connect the included charging cable to the Type-C port on the controller and to a standard USB power source (e.g., console USB port, USB wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours. A fully charged controller provides up to 10 hours of gameplay.
2. Connecting the Receiver
Insert the N64 receiver into a controller port on your Nintendo 64 console. Ensure the console is powered off before inserting or removing the receiver.
3. Pairing the Controller
- Power on your Nintendo 64 console.
- Press the small black button on the N64 receiver.
- Immediately press the red button on the wireless controller.
- The controller and receiver will pair automatically. A successful connection will be indicated by the player indicator LED on the controller. The controller is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions
Basic Controls
The controller features a standard N64 button layout, including A, B, C-buttons, Start, 3D Analog Stick, D-Pad, L, R, and ZR buttons. Refer to the button layout diagram in the Setup section for specific button locations.
Power On/Off
To power on the controller, press any button. It will attempt to connect to the last paired receiver. The controller will automatically enter sleep mode after a period of inactivity to conserve battery. To manually power off, press and hold the Home button for a few seconds.
Battery Level Indicator
The controller features an LED indicator to show battery status. A low battery warning LED will illuminate when charging is required.
Rumble Function
The built-in vibration motor provides haptic feedback during gameplay, eliminating the need for a separate Rumble Pak. This feature is automatically active when supported by the game.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the controller with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents. Avoid getting moisture into any openings.
Storage
Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
Battery Care
Do not attempt to replace the built-in battery. Contact support if battery issues arise. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the controller regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
Troubleshooting
Controller Not Connecting
- Ensure Receiver is Connected: Verify the N64 receiver is securely plugged into a controller port on the console.
- Re-pair Controller: Follow the pairing steps in the "Setup Instructions" section (press receiver button, then controller red button).
- Check Battery: Ensure the controller is charged. Connect the charging cable and check the LED indicator.
- Interference: Move closer to the console or away from other 2.4 GHz wireless devices that might cause interference.
Lag or Disconnections
- Distance: Ensure you are within the 10-meter (33 feet) operating range.
- Obstructions: Minimize physical obstructions between the controller and the receiver.
- Battery Level: A low battery can affect wireless performance. Recharge the controller.
Buttons or Analog Stick Not Responding
- Re-pair: Try re-pairing the controller as described above.
- Restart Console: Power off and on your N64 console.
- Clean: Ensure no debris is obstructing buttons or the analog stick.
No Vibration Feedback
- Game Compatibility: Verify that the game you are playing supports rumble features.
- Controller Settings: Some games may have in-game options to enable/disable rumble. Check game settings.
