2. Safety Instructions
Always observe the following basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons:
- Read all instructions carefully before operating the appliance.

- Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your mains voltage before connecting.

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Ensure all components listed in Section 3 are present.
- Placement: Place the coffee machine on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and direct sunlight. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Water Tank Filling: Remove the 1.6L water tank from the back of the machine. Fill it with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX line. Reinsert the water tank securely.
- Milk Tank Filling (for milk-based drinks): Remove the 400ml milk tank. Fill it with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) up to the desired level. Reattach the milk tank to the machine.
- First Use / Priming:
- Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Press the power button on the control panel. The machine will begin heating up.
- Place a large cup under the coffee outlet.
- Select the "Hot Water" function (if available) or run an espresso cycle without coffee to prime the system and rinse internal components. Repeat 2-3 times.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Making Espresso / Coffee
- Choose your coffee type:
- For Ground Coffee: Insert the ground coffee filter into the portafilter. Add one level scoop of ground coffee using the provided measuring spoon. Tamp lightly. Insert the portafilter into the machine and lock it into place.
- For Capsules (Dolce Gusto, Nespresso, K-fee): Select the appropriate capsule adapter. Insert the capsule into the adapter. Place the adapter into the machine's brewing chamber.
- Place Cup: Position your coffee cup on the drip tray directly under the coffee outlet.
- Select Drink: On the touch screen control panel, select your desired coffee type (Espresso, Lungo, Largo).

- Brewing: The machine will automatically start brewing. Wait for the brewing process to complete.

5.2. Milk Frothing (Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Hot Milk)
The machine features a double milk frothing system: an automatic system using the milk tank and a manual steam nozzle.
5.2.1. Automatic Milk Frothing
- Ensure the milk tank is filled with cold milk and properly attached.
- Place your cup under the milk frothing outlet.
- On the touch screen, select your desired milk-based drink (Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato, Hot Milk).
- The machine will automatically froth and dispense milk, then brew the coffee.

5.2.2. Manual Milk Frothing (Steam Nozzle)
- Fill a separate pitcher with cold milk.
- Position the steam nozzle over the pitcher, just below the milk surface.
- Activate the steam function on the control panel.
- Move the pitcher slowly up and down to create desired foam.
- Once frothed, turn off the steam function and add the frothed milk to your coffee.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your coffee machine and ensure optimal performance.
6.1. Daily Cleaning
- Drip Tray: Empty and rinse the drip tray daily.
- Water Tank: Empty any remaining water and rinse the tank. Refill with fresh water for next use.
- Milk Tank/System: After each use of the automatic milk system, run a quick rinse cycle (if available) or detach and thoroughly clean the milk tank and its components with warm soapy water.
- Steam Nozzle: Immediately after manual frothing, wipe the steam nozzle with a damp cloth to remove any milk residue. Run a short burst of steam to clear any internal blockages.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
6.2. Descaling
Descaling is essential to remove mineral buildup and maintain machine efficiency. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage.
- Empty the water tank and fill it with a descaling solution mixed according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions.
- Place a large container under the coffee outlet and steam nozzle.
- Follow the descaling procedure outlined in your machine's specific descaling mode (refer to the control panel or machine settings). If no specific mode, run several cycles of hot water through the machine until the tank is empty.
- Rinse the water tank thoroughly and refill with fresh water.
- Run several cycles of fresh water through the machine to rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
7. Troubleshooting
