4.2 Component Installation
- Install the CPU:
- Open the CPU socket lever.
- Carefully align the CPU (LGA1155) with the socket, ensuring the gold triangle on the CPU matches the triangle on the socket.
- Gently lower the CPU into the socket. Do not force it.
- Close the socket lever to secure the CPU.
- Install the CPU Cooler:
- Apply thermal paste to the CPU if not pre-applied on the cooler.
- Mount the CPU cooler according to its manufacturer's instructions.
- Connect the CPU fan cable to the "CPU_FAN" header on the motherboard.
- Install DDR3 Memory:
- Open the clips on both ends of the DDR3 memory slots.
- Align the notch on the DDR3 memory module with the key in the memory slot.
- Press down firmly on both ends of the memory module until the clips snap into place.
- Install M.2 NVMe SSD (Optional):
- Locate the M.2 slot.
- Insert the M.2 NVMe SSD into the slot at an angle.
- Gently push down the SSD and secure it with the provided screw.
- Install Graphics Card (Optional):
- Open the latch on the PCIe X16 slot.
- Align your graphics card with the slot and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
- Secure the card with a screw to the PC case.
4.3 Motherboard Mounting and Connections
- Mount the Motherboard:
- Install standoffs in your PC case that align with the motherboard's mounting holes.
- Carefully place the motherboard onto the standoffs, ensuring the rear I/O ports align with the case's I/O shield.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 First Boot and BIOS Setup
- After all connections are made, connect the power supply to the wall outlet and turn on the PC.
- During the boot process, repeatedly press the DEL or F2 key (common keys, may vary) to enter the BIOS/UEFI setup utility.
- In the BIOS, you can configure settings such as:
- Boot order (to install operating system from USB or DVD).
- Date and Time.
- SATA mode (AHCI recommended for SSDs).
- Fan speed control.
- Save changes and exit the BIOS. The system will restart.
5.2 Operating System Installation
Once the BIOS is configured, you can proceed with installing your preferred operating system (e.g., Windows 7, Windows 10) from a bootable USB drive or DVD.
5.3 Driver Installation
After OS installation, install the necessary drivers for the motherboard's components (chipset, audio, LAN, graphics if using integrated) from the manufacturer's website or a provided driver CD (if applicable). This ensures optimal performance and functionality.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance can extend the lifespan and ensure stable operation of your motherboard.
- Keep it Clean: Regularly clean dust from inside your PC case, especially around the CPU cooler and motherboard components, using compressed air. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- BIOS Updates: Periodically check the JMT official website for BIOS updates. BIOS updates can improve compatibility, stability, and performance. Follow the update instructions carefully to avoid damaging the motherboard.
- Driver Updates: Keep your system drivers updated for optimal performance and security.
- Environmental Control: Ensure your PC operates in a well-ventilated area with stable temperature and humidity to prevent overheating and component degradation.
7. Troubleshooting
This section provides solutions to common issues you might encounter.
7.1 No Power / No Boot
- Check Power Connections: Ensure the 24-pin and 4-pin ATX power connectors are securely plugged into the motherboard. Verify the power supply is switched on and connected to a working outlet.
- Front Panel Connections: Double-check that the power switch cable from the case is correctly connected to the motherboard's front panel header.
- RAM: Reseat the DDR3 memory modules. Try booting with only one memory stick if you have multiple.
- CPU: Ensure the CPU is properly seated and the CPU cooler is installed correctly.
- Clear CMOS: Disconnect power, remove the CMOS battery for 30 seconds, then reinsert it. This resets BIOS settings to default.
7.2 No Display
- Monitor Connection: Ensure the monitor cable is securely connected to the correct display output on the motherboard (VGA/HDMI) or dedicated graphics card.
- Graphics Card: If using a dedicated graphics card, ensure it is properly seated in the PCIe X16 slot and any necessary PCIe power cables are connected from the power supply. Try reseating the card.
- RAM: As with no boot, incorrect RAM installation can cause no display. Reseat or test with one stick.
7.3 Peripherals Not Working
- USB Devices: Try different USB ports. Ensure front panel USB headers are correctly connected. Install or update USB drivers.
- Network (LAN): Check the Ethernet cable connection. Verify LAN drivers are installed. Check network settings in the operating system.
- Audio: Ensure speakers/headphones are connected to the correct audio jacks. Install or update audio drivers. Check audio settings in the operating system.
