3. Safety Information and Precautions
Before using the device, it is crucial to understand the safety guidelines to prevent injury and ensure optimal results.
Skin and Hair Color Compatibility:
The IPL technology is most effective on certain hair colors and skin tones. Refer to the compatibility chart below. The device is generally effective on dark blonde, brown, and black hair, and on white, ivory, beige, and light brown skin tones. It is not suitable for red, grey/white, or very light blonde hair, nor for dark brown or dark skin tones.

Areas Not Suitable for Treatment:
- Around the eyes.
- Areas with tattoos, permanent makeup, or dark spots.

- For men, facial hair (mustache, beard) is generally not recommended due to potential for uneven results or irritation.
Contraindications:

4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the device and all accessories from the packaging.
- Inspect: Check the device for any visible damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the device's DC connector, then plug the adapter into a suitable electrical outlet. The device is corded and requires continuous AC power connection for operation.

5. Operation
Preparation:
- Shave: Shave the treatment area thoroughly to remove all visible hair. Do not wax, pluck, or use depilatory creams, as these remove the hair follicle which is necessary for IPL treatment.
- Cleanse: Ensure the skin is clean, dry, and free of any lotions, oils, or deodorants.
- Protect Eyes: Always wear the provided protective goggles during treatment to shield your eyes from the intense light.
Device Usage:
- Power On: Long press the ON/OFF button (refer to Figure 2) to turn on the device.
- Adjust Energy Level: Short press the ON/OFF button to cycle through the 5 adjustable energy levels. Start with Level 1 to test your skin's tolerance and gradually increase as comfortable.
- Select Mode: Long press the Manual/Automatic button (refer to Figure 2) to switch between modes.
- Manual Mode: Ideal for small, precise areas like the bikini line, underarms, and face. Press the Flash Button for each flash.
- Automatic Mode: Suitable for larger areas such as legs, arms, abdomen, and back. Hold the device against the skin, and it will flash automatically as you glide it over the skin.
- Activate Cooling Function: Press the Cooling Function Mode button twice (refer to Figure 2) to activate the ice-cooling feature, which helps reduce discomfort during treatment.
- Apply Treatment: Place the Light Exit Window firmly against the skin, ensuring full contact. The device will flash when properly positioned. Move the device to the next area, ensuring slight overlap to cover all areas.
- Power Off: Long press the ON/OFF button to turn off the device after use.

After treatment, apply a moisturizing lotion to the treated skin areas to soothe and hydrate the skin.
6. Treatment Schedule and Expected Results
Consistency is key for effective hair reduction. Follow the recommended schedule for optimal results.
Recommended Schedule:
- Weeks 1-4: 2-3 times a week. Visible thinning of hair.
- Weeks 5-6: 2 times a week. Hair growth slows.
- Weeks 7-8: Once a week. Hair follicle root shedding.
- Over 8 Weeks: Hair growth stops, or becomes very sparse and fine. Continue maintenance treatments as needed (e.g., once every 2-4 weeks).

Cleaning the Device:
