Setup
1. Battery Installation and Charging

2. Antenna Attachment
Screw the antenna clockwise into the connector on the top of the radio until it is finger-tight.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment
Rotate the Power/Volume switch clockwise to turn on the radio. Continue rotating to increase volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and turn off.

2. Channel/Frequency Selection
The radio supports both frequency mode (VFO) and channel mode (MR). Press the "VFO/MR" key to switch between modes.
- Frequency Mode (VFO): Directly input desired frequency using the keypad.
- Channel Mode (MR): Use the Up/Down keys to scroll through pre-programmed channels.
3. Transmitting and Receiving
To transmit, press and hold the PTT button on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to receive.
4. Emergency Weather Alarm (NOAA)
This radio features NOAA weather alarm functionality. Refer to the specific menu settings to activate and configure weather alerts for your region.
