  1. To Transmit: Press and hold the PTT (Push-to-Talk) button on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone (MIC) located near the bottom of the radio. The signal indicator light will illuminate red while transmitting. Release the PTT button when you finish speaking.
  2. To Receive: Ensure the PTT button is not pressed. The radio will automatically receive signals on the selected channel. The signal indicator light will illuminate green when a signal is being received.

5.4. VOX (Voice Operated Exchange) Function

5.5. Monitor Function

Long press the "Channel/Volume Increase" button to activate the Monitor function. This allows you to listen to weak signals on the current channel without squelch. Release the button to exit Monitor mode.
