1. Product Overview

The NIVIAN 9W Solar Panel is designed to provide continuous power to compatible IP security cameras, ensuring uninterrupted surveillance. This solar panel features high efficiency, versatile connectivity with USB Type-C and MicroUSB adapters, and a durable, weather-resistant design for outdoor use.

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your NIVIAN 9W Solar Panel:

1. Choose a Location: Select a location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day. Avoid areas with obstructions like trees or buildings that could cast shadows on the panel. The panel should be positioned at an angle to optimize sun exposure.
2. Mount the Bracket: Use the provided screws and wall plugs to securely attach the mounting bracket to a wall or other stable surface. Ensure the bracket is firmly fixed before proceeding.
3. Attach the Solar Panel: Connect the solar panel to the mounting bracket. The adjustable bracket allows you to pivot and tilt the panel to achieve the optimal angle for sunlight capture. Secure the panel in place once the desired angle is set.
4. Connect to Camera: Plug the USB Type-C connector from the solar panel into your compatible IP security camera. If your camera uses a MicroUSB port, attach the provided MicroUSB adapter to the USB Type-C connector before plugging it into the camera. Ensure the connection is secure and waterproof.

Important Note: This solar panel is designed for battery-powered cameras with DC5V MicroUSB or USB-C power input. It is not compatible with standard IP cameras that do not have an internal battery or require a different power input.

Once installed and connected, the NIVIAN 9W Solar Panel will automatically begin charging your security camera's battery when exposed to sunlight. The panel's high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon technology ensures effective charging even on days with lower sunlight.
