Follow this quick guide for proper installation and testing. For detailed instructions, download the complete product manual.
? PRO TIP! Make all temporary connections between the indoor monitor and the outdoor panel for correct initial configuration.
1. General Connection Diagram
Indoor Monitor (Back View): Features terminals for Power, TV-OUT, CHIME, GND, 18V, VIDEO, DATA, DOOR1, DOOR2, VCC, ALARM, CAM1, CAM2.
Outdoor Unit (Front View): Includes camera and speaker/microphone.
Wiring Connections: Shows connections for power supply, chime, door locks (DOOR1, DOOR2), cameras (CAM1, CAM2), and door lock control. Specific terminals are labeled for GND, 18V, DATA, NO, COM, NC, VCC, VIDEO, ALARM.
2. Install Monitor and Door Station in Their Final Location
If replacing an old intercom, a cable may already be installed. You can use the existing cable or install a new 2-wire cable. Select a wire pair from the cable behind your headset and find the corresponding wires at the front door. Plug the monitor's power supply into a nearby wall outlet.
3. Connect Door Station to Your Electric Lock
3.1 If an Electric Lock Exists
Most doors have an existing electric lock, usually NO type (normally open) with its own power supply. Connect the two wires from the lock to the NO and COM terminals of the door panel.
3.2 If it is a New Electric Lock
For a new electric lock, you can use the power supply from the video intercom. Connect the NO and GND contacts directly to the electric lock, and connect the COM and VL+ cables (no separate power supply needed).
