This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your BITFENIX Fang ARGB Medium Tower Computer Case. Please read this manual thoroughly before beginning assembly to ensure proper setup and optimal performance. The Fang ARGB case features an elegant design with a mesh front panel, a tempered glass side window, and four pre-installed Addressable RGB (ARGB) fans, offering compatibility with motherboard RGB synchronization for a personalized lighting experience.

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your computer system within the BITFENIX Fang ARGB case.

3.1. Prepare the Case

  1. Carefully unpack the case and remove all packaging materials.
  2. Place the case on a stable, flat surface.
  3. Remove the tempered glass side panel by unscrewing the thumb screws at the rear of the case and gently pulling the panel away.
  4. Remove the solid side panel (opposite the tempered glass) by unscrewing the thumb screws and sliding the panel backward.

3.2. Install the Motherboard

The case supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, and ATX motherboards. Ensure standoffs are correctly aligned for your motherboard size.

  1. Install the I/O shield (if not pre-attached to your motherboard) into the rear I/O opening of the case.
  2. Align your motherboard with the pre-installed standoffs. If your motherboard requires different standoff positions, adjust them accordingly.
  3. Secure the motherboard using the provided screws.

3.3. Install the Power Supply Unit (PSU)

The power supply mounts at the bottom of the case.

  1. Slide the PSU into its designated compartment at the bottom rear of the case.
  2. Secure the PSU to the case using the screws provided with your power supply.

3.4. Install Storage Drives

The case supports 1x 3.5" drive or 2x 2.5" drives in the main compartment, and 2x 2.5" drives behind the motherboard tray.

  1. Mount your 3.5" or 2.5" drives into the appropriate drive bays.
  2. Secure the drives with screws.

3.5. Install Graphics Card and Other Expansion Cards

The case supports graphics cards up to 360mm in length.

  1. Remove the necessary PCIe slot covers from the rear of the case.
  2. Insert your graphics card or other expansion cards into the motherboard's PCIe slots.
  3. Secure the cards with screws.

3.6. Connect Front I/O Cables

Connect the front panel cables to their corresponding headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for exact header locations.

  • Connect the USB 3.0 cables to the motherboard's USB 3.0 header.
  • Connect the USB 2.0 cable to the motherboard's USB 2.0 header.
  • Connect the HD Audio cable to the motherboard's audio header.
  • Connect the Power SW, Reset SW, HDD LED, and Power LED cables to the front panel headers.

3.7. Cable Management

Utilize the 26mm (1.0 inch) cable management space behind the motherboard tray to route and secure cables for a clean build and improved airflow.

  1. Route power cables from the PSU through the cutouts to their respective components.
  2. Use zip ties or Velcro straps (not included) to bundle and secure cables behind the motherboard tray.

3.8. Close the Case

  1. Reattach the solid side panel and secure it with thumb screws.
  2. Reattach the tempered glass side panel and secure it with thumb screws.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

Press the power button located on the top I/O panel to turn your system on or off.

4.2. ARGB Lighting Control

The pre-installed ARGB fans can be controlled via your motherboard's ARGB software (if supported) or through the dedicated LED/Reset button on the top I/O panel for pre-set lighting modes.

5.1. Dust Filter Cleaning

The BITFENIX Fang ARGB case features removable dust filters on the top and bottom for easy cleaning. Regular cleaning helps maintain optimal airflow and prevents dust buildup inside your system.
