4. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to connect your PWAY KVM Switch:
- Connect Monitor: Connect your HDMI monitor to the "HD OUT" port on the KVM switch using an HDMI cable (not included).
- Connect Computers:
- Connect the HDMI output of PC1 to the "HD IN 1" port on the KVM switch.
- Connect the HDMI output of PC2 to the "HD IN 2" port on the KVM switch.
- Connect one USB 3.0 A-to-A cable from a USB 3.0 port on PC1 to the "PC 1" USB 3.0 input on the KVM switch.
- Connect the second USB 3.0 A-to-A cable from a USB 3.0 port on PC2 to the "PC 2" USB 3.0 input on the KVM switch. These USB connections provide power and allow for keyboard, mouse, and other USB peripheral sharing.
- Connect Peripherals:
- Connect your USB keyboard and mouse to the dedicated USB 3.0 ports on the KVM switch.
- Connect any other USB 3.0 peripherals (e.g., printer, USB drive) to the remaining USB 3.0 ports.
- Connect Wired Remote (Optional): Plug the wired desktop controller into the "CTRL" port on the KVM switch for remote switching.

5. Operating Instructions
The PWAY KVM Switch offers two methods for switching between connected computers:
5.1. Button Switching
Press the "PC1/PC2" button located on the top of the KVM switch to toggle between PC1 and PC2. The LED indicator will show which computer is currently active.
5.2. Wired Remote Controller Switching
If you have connected the wired desktop controller, simply press the button on the controller to switch between PC1 and PC2. This provides convenience for switching from a distance.
Note: Hotkey switching via keyboard is not supported by this model.

7. Troubleshooting
- No Display/Flickering Screen:
- Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected.
- Verify that your monitor, computers, and HDMI cables support the desired resolution (e.g., 4K@60Hz).
- Try reducing the resolution on your computer to see if a lower resolution displays correctly.
- Check if the KVM switch is receiving sufficient power via the USB 3.0 connections from the computers.
- Keyboard/Mouse Not Responding:
- Ensure the USB 3.0 A-to-A cables are properly connected from both computers to the KVM switch.
- Connect the keyboard and mouse directly to the dedicated USB 3.0 ports on the KVM switch.
- Try connecting the keyboard/mouse to a different USB 3.0 port on the KVM switch.
- Restart the connected computers.
- Switching Issues:
- Ensure the wired remote controller is securely plugged into the "CTRL" port.
- Confirm that the KVM switch button is functioning correctly.
- Ultra-wide Screen Not Supported:
- This KVM switch does not support ultra-wide screen monitors. If you are using an ultra-wide monitor, you may experience compatibility issues or incorrect display resolutions.

- Keep the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
