3. Setup
3.1 Unboxing
Carefully remove your watch from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage. Ensure all protective films are removed from the crystal and case back before wearing.
3.2 Setting Time and Date
Your Fastrack Gambit watch features a crown and potentially pushers for setting. Follow these general steps:
- Setting the Time: Gently pull the crown (located on the side of the watch case) out to its outermost position. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands until the correct time is displayed. Push the crown back in to its normal position to start the watch.
- Setting the Date: Pull the crown out to the first click position (if applicable, otherwise use the outermost position). Rotate the crown (or use a dedicated pusher if present) to adjust the date in the date sub-dial. Once the correct date is set, push the crown back in. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the date change mechanism.

3.3 Strap Adjustment
The watch comes with a brown leather strap and a buckle clasp. Adjust the strap by selecting the appropriate hole for a comfortable and secure fit on your wrist. Ensure the watch is not too tight or too loose.
4. Operating Your Watch
4.1 Reading the Time
The main dial displays hours and minutes using the central hands. The 'HR' marking on the dial indicates the primary hour display.
4.2 Using the Multifunction Sub-dials
- Minute Sub-dial: The sub-dial labeled 'MIN' (typically on the left side of the main dial) indicates minutes, possibly as part of a chronograph function or a specific time-tracking feature. Refer to the specific movement instructions if detailed chronograph operation is required.
- Date Sub-dial: The sub-dial displaying numbers up to 31 (typically on the right side of the main dial) indicates the current date. This sub-dial automatically advances daily.
4.3 Water Resistance
Your watch has a water resistance rating of 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for short periods of recreational swimming, showering, or washing hands. It is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or prolonged water activities. Avoid operating the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or submerged to prevent water ingress.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Wipe your watch regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For water-resistant watches, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch case, crystal, or strap.
5.2 Battery Replacement
This watch is powered by a quartz movement, which uses a battery. When the watch stops or the second hand starts skipping (if present), it indicates a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician or an authorized service center to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
5.3 Strap Care
The brown leather strap is durable but requires care. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture, which can cause the leather to dry, crack, or discolor. Clean the strap with a soft, damp cloth and allow it to air dry naturally. Do not use harsh chemicals on the leather.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Watch Not Running
- Check if the crown is pushed all the way in. If it is pulled out, the watch will not run.
- The battery may be depleted. Refer to Section 5.2 for battery replacement.
6.2 Incorrect Time or Date
- Refer to Section 3.2 for instructions on how to correctly set the time and date.
- Ensure the crown is fully pushed in after setting to prevent accidental changes.
6.3 Water Inside the Watch
If you notice condensation or water inside the watch, immediately take it to an authorized service center. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself, as this will void the warranty and can cause further damage.
6.4 Other Issues
For any other issues not covered in this section, please contact Fastrack customer support or visit an authorized service center.
