Thank you for choosing the Temtop Smart Air Quality Monitor S1+. This device is designed to provide accurate and reliable measurements of indoor air quality, including PM2.5, AQI (Air Quality Index), temperature, and humidity. With its smart features and long battery life, the S1+ helps you maintain a healthier and more comfortable indoor environment.

3. Product Overview

The Temtop S1+ features a clear display and intuitive controls. Familiarize yourself with the components and indicators:

4. Setup

4.1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided Type-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the Type-C port on the monitor and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The battery indicator on the display will show charging status.

4.2. Powering On/Off

To power on the device, long press the Power button. To power off, long press the Power button again until the display turns off.

4.3. App Connectivity (BLE)

The S1+ supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for app integration. Download the official Temtop app from your smartphone's app store. Once installed, open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your device. Short press the Power button on the monitor to activate Bluetooth for pairing.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Understanding Display Readings

The monitor displays the following key air quality parameters:

PM2.5: Particulate Matter 2.5 micrometers or less in diameter (in µg/m³).
AQI: Air Quality Index, a numerical scale indicating air quality.
Temperature: Current ambient temperature (in °F or °C).
Humidity: Relative humidity percentage (in %RH).

5.2. Air Quality Indicator

The 3-color indicator bar on the right side of the display provides a quick visual assessment of air quality:

Green: Good air quality.
Orange: Moderate air quality.
Red: Poor air quality.

5.3. Switching Modes and Units

Display Modes: Short press the Mode button to cycle through different display modes (e.g., showing different combinations of parameters or historical data).
Temperature Units: Long press the Mode button to switch between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).

5.4. Buzzer Alarm

The device is equipped with a built-in buzzer alarm that activates when PM2.5 levels reach unhealthy thresholds. To toggle the buzzer on or off, double-click the Power button.

5.5. Battery Life and Usage Tips

The S1+ offers up to 60 days of battery life on a single charge due to its energy-saving features. For continuous real-time monitoring, it is recommended to keep the device plugged in.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

To ensure accurate readings and prolong the device's lifespan, regularly clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or allow water to enter the device.

6.2. Calibration

The S1+ supports device calibration. Refer to the Temtop app for specific instructions on how to perform calibration to maintain measurement accuracy over time. Simultaneously long press the Power and Mode buttons to enter Auto-Calibration State.

7. Troubleshooting
