4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Cooking Rice
- Measure Rice: Use the provided measuring cup to measure the desired amount of rice. One full measuring cup typically yields two servings of cooked rice.
- Wash Rice: Rinse the rice in a separate bowl until the water runs clear. This helps remove excess starch.
- Add Rice and Water: Place the washed rice into the non-stick inner pot. Add water according to the markings inside the inner pot or general guidelines (e.g., 1 cup of rice to 1.5-2 cups of water, depending on rice type). The inner pot has a scale to guide the water-to-rice ratio.
- Place Inner Pot: Ensure the exterior of the inner pot is dry, then place it into the main rice cooker unit. Rotate it slightly to ensure good contact with the heating element.
- Close Lid: Place the tempered glass lid securely on the inner pot.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Start Cooking: Press the 'Cook' button. The 'Cook' indicator light will illuminate.
- Automatic Keep Warm: Once the rice is cooked, the cooker will automatically switch to the 'Keep Warm' mode, and the 'Warm' indicator light will illuminate. This function can keep rice warm for up to 8 hours.
- Serve: Use the provided rice spatula to fluff and serve the cooked rice.

4.2 Keep Warm Function
The rice cooker automatically transitions to the 'Keep Warm' function after the cooking cycle is complete. This feature maintains the rice at an optimal serving temperature without overcooking. The 'Warm' indicator light will be illuminated during this mode. It is recommended not to keep rice warm for more than 8 hours to maintain quality.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your rice cooker.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the rice cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Clean Inner Pot: The non-stick inner pot can be washed with warm, soapy water using a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as these can damage the non-stick coating. The inner pot is also dishwasher safe.
- Clean Glass Lid: Wash the tempered glass lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the main rice cooker unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or rinse it under running water.
- Clean Accessories: Wash the measuring cup and rice spatula with warm, soapy water.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the rice cooker in a dry place.
