The XOSS XL-1200 headlight features a robust aluminum alloy exterior, a powerful LED light source, and a single control button. The package includes a versatile mount that supports both positive (above handlebar) and hanging (below handlebar) installation methods.

Setup

1. Charging the Headlight

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the headlight.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the headlight and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 9 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the cable.

2. Installing the Mount

The mount is designed for easy installation and removal on various bicycle handlebars.

  1. Choose your preferred mounting method:
    • Positive Mounting: Positions the headlight above the handlebar.
    • Hanging Mounting: Positions the headlight below the handlebar.
  2. Place the mount around your bicycle handlebar at the desired position.
  3. Secure the mount firmly using the integrated screw or lever mechanism until it is stable and does not rotate.

3. Attaching the Headlight to the Mount

  1. Align the headlight with the mounting slot on the installed handlebar mount.
  2. Slide the headlight onto the mount until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is firmly attached to prevent accidental detachment during riding.
  3. To remove, press the release tab (if present) and slide the headlight off the mount.

Changing Lighting Modes

The XOSS XL-1200 features 6 distinct lighting modes:

  1. High Light Mode: Maximum brightness (1200 lumens) for optimal visibility.
  2. Medium Light Mode: Balanced brightness for general riding.
  3. Low Light Mode: Reduced brightness for extended battery life or less demanding conditions.
  4. Power Saving Mode: Lowest brightness setting for maximum battery endurance.
  5. Flash Light Mode: Flashing pattern for increased daytime visibility or emergency signaling.
  6. SOS Mode: International Morse code for distress signal.

To cycle through the modes, short press the power button while the light is on.

Battery Level Alert

The headlight is equipped with red power indicators on the side. These indicators will illuminate when the battery level drops below 20%, reminding you to recharge the device.
