6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
Press the power button on the front of the unit to turn the soldering station on or off. The display will illuminate upon power-on.
6.2 Temperature Adjustment
Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the control panel to adjust the desired temperature. The temperature can be set between 90°C and 450°C (194°F and 842°F). The dynamic full-color display will show both the set temperature and the actual tip temperature in real-time. The station heats up rapidly, often reaching the set temperature within seconds.

6.3 Soldering Tip Replacement
To replace a soldering tip:
- Ensure the soldering iron is cool or use a heat-resistant tool to handle the hot tip.
- Carefully pull the old tip out from the soldering iron handle. The metal holes at the back of the station can assist in removing stubborn tips.
- Insert the new tip fully into the handle until it is firmly seated.
- The station will detect the new tip and resume heating to the set temperature.
6.4 Auto Sleep Mode
The soldering station features an intelligent auto sleep mode. When the soldering iron is placed back into its holder, the unit will automatically reduce the tip temperature to 200°C (392°F) after approximately 5 minutes of inactivity. This conserves energy, extends the lifespan of the soldering tip, and minimizes fire risks. Upon lifting the soldering iron from the holder, it will rapidly return to the previously set operating temperature.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Soldering Tip
Regular cleaning of the soldering tip is crucial for optimal performance and longevity.
- Steel Wool: Use the integrated steel wool to remove excess solder and oxidation from the tip.
- Damp Sponge: Lightly dampen the blue sponge with distilled water. Wipe the hot tip across the sponge to clean it. Ensure the sponge is not oversaturated to avoid thermal shock to the tip.
7.2 General Cleaning
Wipe the main unit and soldering iron handle with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
8. Troubleshooting
- Error Message / No Heat: If the soldering iron does not heat up or displays an error, ensure the soldering tip is fully and correctly inserted into the handle.
- Inconsistent Temperature: Check that the tip is clean and properly tinned. Ensure the power cable is securely connected.
- Poor Solder Joints: Verify the temperature setting is appropriate for the solder and components being used. Ensure the tip is clean and properly tinned.
