4. Product Overview

Camera Unit

The camera unit features a 1080P HD lens with remote pan (355°) and tilt (100°) capabilities, allowing for a comprehensive view of the room. It includes built-in RGB night lights (ears), a microphone for two-way talk, and an infrared sensor for automatic night vision. The base includes a speaker and mounting points.

Monitor Unit

The monitor unit features a 4.3-inch HD LCD screen for clear video display. It has intuitive buttons for navigation, volume control, two-way talk activation, and menu access. An extendable antenna ensures stable signal reception up to 1000ft. The monitor also includes a kickstand for convenient placement and a built-in rechargeable battery for portability.

5. Setup Guide

5.1 Charging and Powering

1. Charge the Monitor: Connect one power adapter to the monitor unit and plug it into a power outlet. Charge the monitor fully before first use (approximately 3-4 hours). The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.
2. Power the Camera: Connect the second power adapter to the camera unit and plug it into a power outlet. The camera requires continuous power to operate.

5.2 Initial Pairing (Monitor & Camera)

The camera and monitor units are pre-paired at the factory. If they do not connect automatically, follow these steps:

1. Ensure both the camera and monitor are powered on and within range.
2. On the monitor, navigate to the 'Camera' menu.
3. Select 'Add Camera' or 'Pair Camera'.
4. Press and hold the 'Call/Pair' button on the back of the camera unit until the monitor displays a successful connection.

5.3 Smartphone APP Connection (Safeview)

For remote monitoring and advanced features, download the 'Safeview' app.

1. Download the 'Safeview' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Create an account and log in.
3. In the app, select 'Add Device' and follow the on-screen instructions. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4G WiFi network.
4. The camera supports Bluetooth network pairing for improved success rate during WiFi setup.

5.4 Mounting Options

The camera can be placed on a tabletop, or mounted to a wall or ceiling using the included mounting bracket and screws.

• Tabletop Mount: Place the camera on a flat, stable surface away from the crib and out of reach of children.
• Wall/Ceiling Mount: Use the included mounting bracket as a template to mark drill holes. Secure the bracket with screws, then attach the camera to the bracket. Ensure the camera is positioned to provide the desired viewing angle.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Monitor Navigation

Use the directional buttons and 'OK' button on the monitor to navigate through menus and control camera functions. The 'Menu' button (three horizontal lines) accesses main settings.

6.2 Video Monitoring (Pan, Tilt, Zoom)

From the live view on the monitor, use the directional buttons to remotely pan (355°) and tilt (100°) the camera. Press the zoom button to activate 2X or 4X digital zoom for a closer look.

6.3 Two-Way Talk

Press and hold the microphone button on the monitor to speak to your baby through the camera's speaker. Release the button to listen.

6.4 Night Vision

The camera automatically switches to infrared night vision in low-light conditions, providing clear black and white images of your baby without disturbing their sleep.

6.5 Lullabies and Night Lights

The monitor features advanced detection capabilities:

• Temperature & Humidity: Monitor the room's temperature and humidity levels. Set custom ranges to receive alerts if conditions fall outside the desired parameters.

6.8 Sleep Mode
