3.2. Transmitter Setup (Push Button)

The transmitter comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery. Ensure the battery tab is removed if present.

Choose one of the following installation methods:

Method 1: Double-sided Adhesive Installation

  1. Clean Surface: Clean the desired mounting surface (door frame, wall) with a damp cloth and ensure it is dry and smooth.
  2. Apply Tape: Peel off one side of the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape and firmly attach it to the back of the doorbell transmitter.
  3. Mount Transmitter: Peel off the other side of the protective film and press the transmitter firmly onto the cleaned surface for at least 30 seconds.

Method 2: Screw Mounting

  2. Drill Holes: Drill two small holes at the marked positions. Insert wall anchors if mounting on drywall or masonry.
  3. Secure Transmitter: Align the transmitter with the drilled holes and secure it with the provided screws.

4.2. Adjusting Volume

The doorbell receiver has a volume of 115 dB. While the product description mentions a volume of 115 dB, it does not explicitly state a volume control button. If your model includes a volume button (often labeled "L" or a speaker icon), press it to cycle through volume levels.

4.3. Pairing Additional Transmitters/Receivers (If Applicable)

The SURNICE Wireless Doorbell system is expandable. To pair additional components:

  1. Put the receiver into pairing mode (refer to the specific instructions provided with your additional component, usually involves holding a button on the receiver for a few seconds).
  2. Press the push button on the new transmitter.
  3. The receiver should chime, indicating successful pairing.

5. Maintenance and Care

5.1. Battery Replacement

  • Receiver: When the chime sound becomes weak or stops working, replace the 3 AA batteries in the receiver.
  • Transmitter: The transmitter uses a CR2032 battery. If the doorbell button stops triggering the chime, replace this battery. To replace, carefully open the transmitter casing (often by prying a small notch) and swap the CR2032 battery.

Note: The CR2032 battery in the transmitter typically has a lifespan of approximately 2 years.

5.2. Cleaning

Wipe the doorbell receiver and transmitter with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5.3. Weather Resistance

The doorbell transmitter is IP55 waterproof and dustproof, designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C). While it is resistant to splashes and dust, avoid submerging it in water or exposing it to extreme conditions beyond its specified range.
