The front panel of the DMX controller is intuitively designed for ease of use. The Light Selecting Area (Scanner Buttons 1-12) allows you to choose which lighting fixture you are controlling. The Scene Buttons (1-8) are used to select pre-programmed scenes. Below these, the Channel Selection Sliders (1-16) provide granular control over individual DMX channels for the selected fixture. The Page Selection Button allows switching between Page A and Page B for the channel sliders, effectively doubling the number of accessible channels per fixture. The Speed and Fade Time sliders adjust the transition speed and fade duration of scenes and chases. The Function Selection Area on the right contains buttons for program mode, MIDI functions, auto-delete, music sync, and chase selection (Chase 1-6), along with a Blackout button.

The rear panel of the controller houses essential connection points. The Signal Switch is used to select the DMX signal mode. The DMX Output port (3-pin XLR) is where you connect your DMX lighting fixtures. The Power Port is for connecting the included power adapter, and the ON/OFF Switch controls the unit's power. The controller measures approximately 48.5 cm (19.1 inches) in width and 13.5 cm (5.31 inches) in depth.

Setup Guide

  1. Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the Power Port on the rear of the DMX controller. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet (100-240V AC, 50/60Hz).
  2. DMX Connection: Connect your DMX-compatible lighting fixtures to the DMX Output port on the controller using a 3-pin DMX cable. For multiple fixtures, daisy-chain them from one to the next. Ensure the last fixture in the chain has a DMX terminator if recommended by the fixture's manufacturer.
  3. Power On: Flip the ON/OFF switch on the rear panel to the 'ON' position. The controller's display should illuminate.
  4. Address Fixtures: Set the DMX address for each of your lighting fixtures according to their respective manuals. Each fixture should have a unique starting DMX address.
  5. Select Scanner: On the DMX controller, press one of the 'Scanner Buttons' (1-12) to select the lighting fixture you wish to control. The corresponding LED will light up.
