5. Setup
- Prepare the Work Area: Ensure your painting area is well-ventilated and protected from overspray. Cover any surfaces you do not wish to paint.
- Prepare the Paint: The consistency of your paint is crucial for optimal spraying. Use the included viscosity cup to test and adjust the paint's thickness. Add water or thinner as recommended by the paint manufacturer until the paint flows smoothly through the cup within the recommended time for your chosen nozzle. For example, a 0.8mm nozzle might require 10-20 Dins, while a 2.5mm nozzle can handle 80-120 Dins.
- Select the Correct Nozzle: Choose one of the four copper nozzles based on the paint type and desired spray pattern. Brass nozzles offer superior durability and are easier to clean than plastic alternatives.
- Fill the Container: Pour the prepared paint into the large capacity container (1400ml). Ensure the container is securely attached to the sprayer unit.
- Test the Sprayer: Before beginning your main project, always test the sprayer on a piece of scrap material to ensure the spray pattern and flow are as desired. Adjust the settings as needed.
6. Operating Instructions
The MirrorZone Paint Sprayer offers advanced technology and careful design for efficient painting.
6.1. Pre-Spraying Preparation
- Before applying paint, you can utilize the sprayer's air-blowing function to clear dust and debris from the surface, ensuring a cleaner and more professional finish.
6.2. Adjusting Spray Modes and Flow
The sprayer offers three adjustable spray modes and flexible flow control:
- Spray Modes: Easily switch between horizontal, vertical, and circular spray patterns by rotating the air cap.
- Flow Control: The adjustable flow control knob allows you to regulate the paint output from 0ml/min to 1200ml/min, suiting different tasks and paint types. Turn counter-clockwise for more flow, and clockwise for less flow.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning after each use is essential to maintain the performance and longevity of your paint sprayer. Neglecting thorough cleaning can lead to clogging and malfunction.
- Empty and Rinse: After painting, empty any remaining paint from the container. Fill the container with an appropriate cleaning solution (water for latex paints, mineral spirits for oil-based paints) and spray it through the unit until the liquid runs clear.
- Disassemble for Cleaning: Dismantle the motor and other components for a more thorough cleaning.
- Clean Nozzle and Components: Use the included cleaning brush and cleaning needle to effectively clear any hardened paint from the nozzle and other small parts. Pay close attention to the brass nozzles, as they are designed for durability and easy cleaning.
- Wipe Down: Wipe all external surfaces of the sprayer with a damp cloth.
- Dry and Store: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing the sprayer in a clean, dry place.

8. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your paint sprayer.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Sprayer not spraying or paint flow is weak | Nozzle clogged; Paint too thick; Suction tube blocked; Air cap dirty. | Clean the nozzle with the cleaning needle. Dilute paint to proper viscosity. Check and clear suction tube. Clean air cap. |
| Uneven spray pattern | Nozzle partially clogged; Incorrect spray mode setting; Inconsistent paint viscosity. | Thoroughly clean the nozzle. Adjust the air cap to the desired spray mode (horizontal, vertical, circular). Re-check paint viscosity. |
| Paint sputtering | Low paint level in container; Air leak; Paint too thick. | Refill paint container. Ensure all connections are tight. Dilute paint. |
| Motor overheating | Prolonged use; Blocked air vents. | Allow the unit to cool down. Ensure air vents are clear. The built-in fuse will cut power if temperature is too high. |
| Paint goes everywhere / Excessive overspray | Incorrect distance from surface; Flow control too high; Incorrect nozzle size. | Maintain proper distance (approx. 6-8 inches). Reduce flow control. Select a smaller nozzle for finer work. |
