3. Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air fryer and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Initial Cleaning: Wash the cooking baskets, divider, and crisper trays with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the air fryer on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, ensuring at least 15 cm of clear space around the back and sides for proper ventilation. Do not place near flammable materials.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The appliance will emit a beep, and the display will illuminate briefly.
- First Use Cycle (Optional but Recommended): To eliminate any manufacturing odors, run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C. Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Powering On/Off
- To power on, plug the unit into an outlet. The display will show standby mode.

- To power off, press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the display turns off.

- Preset Functions: The display features 6 preset cooking functions (e.g., Fries, Chicken, Steak, Fish, Bake, Dehydrate). Touch the corresponding icon to select a preset.
- Temperature Adjustment: After selecting a preset or manual mode, touch the Temperature icon then rotate the control knob to adjust the temperature between 85°C and 200°C.
- Time Adjustment: Touch the Time icon then rotate the control knob to set the cooking time.
- Start/Pause: Press the Start/Pause button to begin or temporarily stop cooking.
4.3. Dual Basket Cooking and Synchronized Finish
The SAF11DB allows you to cook two different foods simultaneously or a larger quantity of one food. When using the divider, each basket operates independently.
- Single Basket (11L): Remove the divider to use the full 11-litre capacity. Ideal for larger items like a whole chicken or turkey.
- Dual Baskets (2 x 5.5L): Insert the divider to create two separate cooking zones.
- Synchronized Cooking: If cooking two different items with different times/temperatures, use the SYNC function. Set the cooking parameters for each basket (Left 'L' and Right 'R'). The air fryer will automatically adjust the start times so both baskets finish cooking at the same time.
4.4. Keep Warm Function
After cooking is complete, the air fryer may automatically switch to a "Keep Warm" mode, or you can select it manually. This function maintains food at a serving temperature without overcooking.
4.5. Cooking Capacity Guidelines
- French Fries: Up to 2.5 kg in the 11L basket.
- Turkey: Up to 4.5 kg in the 11L basket.
- Adjust quantities based on food type and desired crispiness. Do not overfill baskets.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your air fryer.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Cleaning Baskets and Divider: The cooking baskets and divider are removable and dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm water, a mild detergent, and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Cleaning Crisper Trays: The crisper trays can also be washed in the dishwasher or by hand with warm, soapy water.
- Cleaning the Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. Never immerse the main unit in water.
