3.2 Mode Selection

The 1Mii B03S supports three operational modes: Transmitter (TX), Receiver (RX), and Bypass. Use the physical switch on the device to select the desired mode.

  • TX Mode (Transmitter): Used to send audio wirelessly from your TV or other audio source to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
  • RX Mode (Receiver): Used to receive audio wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet, or computer and output it to your home stereo system or wired speakers.
  • Bypass Mode: Allows audio to pass through the B03S without Bluetooth processing, useful for direct wired connections while still having the option for Bluetooth.

3.3 Connecting to Audio Sources/Devices

3.3.1 TX Mode (Connecting to TV)

To connect your TV to the B03S in TX mode, use one of the following audio output options from your TV:

  • Optical Cable: Connect the optical output of your TV to the "From TV Optical In" port on the B03S.
  • RCA Cable: Connect the RCA audio output (red/white) of your TV to the "From TV 3.5mm In" port on the B03S using the 3.5mm-RCA cable.
  • 3.5mm AUX Cable: Connect the 3.5mm audio output of your TV (e.g., headphone jack) to the "From TV 3.5mm In" port on the B03S.

Important: When using the optical connection, ensure your TV's digital audio output format is set to PCM. RCA and 3.5mm AUX connections typically do not require this setting adjustment.

3.3.2 RX Mode (Connecting to Amplifier/Speakers)

To connect the B03S in RX mode to your amplifier or wired speakers, use one of the following audio output options from the B03S:

  • Optical Cable: Connect the "To Speaker Optical Out" port on the B03S to the optical input of your amplifier/speakers.
  • RCA Cable: Connect the "To Speaker 3.5mm Out" port on the B03S to the RCA audio input (red/white) of your amplifier/speakers using the 3.5mm-RCA cable.
  • 3.5mm AUX Cable: Connect the "To Speaker 3.5mm Out" port on the B03S to the 3.5mm audio input of your amplifier/speakers.

Ensure your amplifier/speakers are set to the corresponding audio input (e.g., Optical 1, AUX, CD).

3.3.3 Bypass Mode (Connecting TV to Speaker/Amplifier)

In Bypass mode, the B03S acts as a pass-through for your audio signal. This is useful if you want to use your existing wired setup while having the option to switch to Bluetooth (TX mode) without re-cabling.

  • Connect your TV's audio output (Optical, RCA, or 3.5mm AUX) to the corresponding "From TV" input on the B03S.
  • Connect the "To Speaker" output on the B03S (Optical, RCA, or 3.5mm AUX) to the corresponding input on your speaker or amplifier.

Note: When using the optical connection in Bypass mode, ensure your TV's digital audio output format is set to PCM.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Bluetooth Pairing (TX Mode)

After selecting TX mode, the B03S will automatically enter pairing state for first use (the "TX" indicator will flash red and blue). If not, press the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds to initiate pairing.

Set your Bluetooth headphones or speakers to pairing state. The B03S will automatically search for and connect to nearby Bluetooth devices. Once successfully paired, the "TX" and "Bluetooth 1" indicators will turn blue.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your 1Mii B03S, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

5.1 No Sound or Noise Issues (Optical Connection)

If you experience no sound or static/noise when using the optical connection, especially with a TV, ensure the TV's digital audio output format is set to PCM. Many TVs default to Dolby Digital or DTS, which are not supported by the B03S's optical input.

  • Navigate to your TV's Settings menu.
  • Find Sound or Audio Output settings.
  • Look for Digital Output Audio Format or similar.
  • Change the setting from "Auto" or "Bitstream" to PCM.

5.2 Bluetooth Connection Issues

  • Ensure Pairing Mode: Make sure the B03S is in the correct TX or RX mode and its indicator is flashing red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
  • Device Pairing Mode: Ensure your Bluetooth headphones/speakers/phone are also in pairing mode.
  • Distance: Keep devices within the effective Bluetooth range (up to 98ft in open space, 49ft with obstacles).
  • Interference: Move away from other wireless devices (Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones) that might cause interference.
  • Reboot: Power cycle both the B03S and your Bluetooth device.
  • Clear Pairing History: If issues persist, clear the pairing history on both the B03S (refer to user manual for specific steps) and your Bluetooth device, then attempt to pair again.
