3. Setup & Assembly

The Tripp Trapp High Chair 2 is designed for straightforward assembly. Follow the instructions provided in the separate assembly guide for detailed steps. The Baby Set features a tool-free design for easy attachment to the chair.

3.1 Attaching the Baby Set and Harness

1. Ensure the chair is fully assembled and stable.
2. Slide the Baby Set backrest onto the chair's back posts.
3. Attach the Baby Set rail by clicking it into place on the sides of the chair.
4. Thread the 5-point harness through the designated slots in the Baby Set and Cushion 2, ensuring it is securely fastened and adjusted for your child's safety.

4. Adjustability

The Tripp Trapp High Chair is designed to adapt to your child's growth. Both the seat plate and foot plate are adjustable in height and depth to provide ergonomic support at every stage.

4.1 Adjusting Seat and Foot Plates

1. Loosen the screws on the side rails of the chair.
2. Slide the seat plate and foot plate into the desired grooves. Ensure the foot plate provides proper support for your child's feet at a 90-degree angle at the knees.
3. Tighten the screws securely to lock the plates in position.

As your child grows, you can remove the Baby Set and continue to adjust the seat and foot plates to ensure a comfortable and ergonomic seating position, even into adulthood.
