Applying Glue

  1. Ensure the glue gun is fully heated.
  2. Gently squeeze the trigger to dispense melted glue from the nozzle. The amount of glue dispensed is controlled by the pressure applied to the trigger.
  3. Apply glue to one surface and immediately press the two surfaces together. Hold firmly for a few seconds to allow the glue to set.
  4. When more glue is needed, insert a new glue stick into the back of the gun. The new stick will push the old one forward.

  • Cord Care: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. Do not wrap the cord tightly around the glue gun.

5. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Glue gun not heating. Not plugged in; power switch off; faulty outlet.Check power connection; ensure switch is ON and illuminated; try a different outlet.
Glue not flowing.Insufficient heating time; glue stick not fully inserted; wrong size glue stick.Allow more time to heat (3-5 minutes); push glue stick firmly; ensure using full-size (0.43 inch) glue sticks.
Excessive dripping.Overheating (unlikely with CT60's design); nozzle obstruction.Ensure the gun is not left on for excessively long periods without use. If dripping persists, ensure the nozzle is clean. The CT60 is designed for low drip.
Glue not adhering.Surface too cold or dirty; incompatible material; insufficient glue.Ensure surfaces are clean and dry. Apply sufficient glue and press firmly. Note compatible materials: Cardboard, Fabric, Paper, Plastic, Wood.
