Important Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.
General Operation Safety
- Always operate the heater in an upright position, following the product manual's instructions.
- Ensure the heater is placed on a flat, stable surface before use.
- Avoid positioning the heater directly under a power outlet.
- For safe operation, plug the heater directly into a 120 Volts AC, 60Hz wall outlet.
- Make sure the plug fits tightly in the outlet to prevent overheating and potential damage to the plug or heater.
Overheat Protection
The heater is equipped with an automatic overheat protection device. If the heater grille is obstructed, or if the heater gets too hot for any reason, this device will turn the heater off. To reset the heater, turn power off and unplug the heater for 10 minutes until it cools down. Then, you may plug the heater in and restart. Be sure that the heater is on a smooth, level surface with no obstructions.
Tip-Over Protection
The heater is also equipped with a safety tip-over switch to turn power off to the heater when it tips over. To resume heater functions, simply stand the heater upright.
Pet Owner's Note
The health of birds and some small pets are extremely sensitive to the fumes given off during the initial use of many appliances. Although these fumes are not harmful to humans, it is recommended that this heater not be used around birds and small pets during its initial use until the manufacturing corrosion coatings burn off.

Setup
Unpacking
Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Inspect for any damage. Retain the original carton for off-season storage.
Placement
Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure it is not near curtains, furniture, or other flammable materials. Maintain at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) of clearance from walls and other objects to allow for proper airflow and prevent fire hazards.
Power Connection
Plug the heater directly into a standard 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords, power strips, or surge protectors, as these can overheat and create a fire risk.

Troubleshooting
If your heater is not functioning as expected, please consult the following common issues and solutions:
Heater Not Turning On
- Ensure the heater is securely plugged into a functional 120V AC, 60Hz wall outlet.
- Check if the tip-over switch has been activated; ensure the heater is standing upright on a flat surface.
- Verify if the automatic overheat protection has been triggered. If so, turn off the power, unplug the heater for 10 minutes to cool, then plug it back in and restart. Ensure no obstructions are blocking the grille.
Inconsistent Heating or Frequent Cycling
- Ensure the thermostat is set to your desired temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain this setting.
- If using ECO Mode, the heater is designed to maintain 68°F (20°C). If your room temperature is already near this, it may cycle less or more frequently to maintain the target.
- Check for drafts or poor insulation in the room that might affect temperature readings and heater performance.
Unusual Noises
- A slight fan noise is normal during operation.
- If you hear unusual clicking, grinding, or loud noises, especially during oscillation, discontinue use immediately and contact customer support.
