2. Safety Information

  • Always turn off the power at the circuit breaker before installation, maintenance, or cleaning.
  • Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or in accordance with local electrical codes.
  • Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the fixture.
  • Do not look directly into the LED light source when the light is on, as it may cause eye strain or damage.
  • Keep the product away from flammable materials.
  • This product is double insulated and does not require an earth wire.

4. Installation Guide

Follow these steps for proper installation:

  1. Preparation: Turn off power at the circuit breaker.
  2. Mounting Location: Choose a suitable location on a wall or soffit that can support the light fixture. The light can be installed on ceilings or walls.
  3. Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the widened and thickened 180° adjustable metal bracket to the desired surface using the provided screws and wall anchors.
  4. Wiring: Connect the light's wires to your household electrical wiring. This light is double insulated, so it does not require an earth wire. Use the provided wire nuts to secure connections.
  5. Attach Light Fixture: Mount the light fixture onto the installed bracket. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  6. Adjust Light Heads: Adjust the three light heads to your desired angles. The side heads can move up, down, left, and right, while the center head articulates up and down.
  7. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Remote Control Functions

The included remote control allows for convenient adjustment of various settings without needing to access the light fixture directly.

  • Lighting Time: Adjust the duration the light stays on after motion detection (45s, 90s, 120s, 5min, 10min).
  • Sensing Distance: Set the motion detection range (6m/19.69ft, 9m/29.53ft, 12m/39.37ft).
  • Brightness: Adjust the light intensity from 10% to 100%.
  • ON/OFF: Manually turn the light on or off.

5.2 Working Modes

The light features four distinct working modes, selectable via the remote control or buttons on the sensor unit:

  • 1. Always-on Mode: The light will remain on continuously, regardless of motion detection or ambient light levels.

  • 2. Night Induction Mode: The light will only activate at night when motion is detected.

  • 3. 24H Induction Mode: The light will activate both during the day and at night when motion is detected.

5.3 Manual Button Settings (on sensor unit)

The sensor unit also has physical buttons for basic adjustments:

  • Lighting Time: Press the button to cycle through 5s, 45s, 120s, or 600s (10 minutes) for the light duration.
  • Working Mode: Select between "Night Mode" (light activates only at night) and "Day Mode" (light activates 24 hours).

6. Maintenance and Care

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your MEIHUA Motion Sensor Outdoor Light, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the light fixture and motion sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Inspection: Regularly check for any loose connections or damage to the wiring and mounting.
  • Weather Resistance: The light is IP66 waterproof, heat-resistant, and frost-resistant, designed to withstand various outdoor conditions. However, avoid submerging the unit in water.

7. Troubleshooting
