4. Installation Guide

Professional installation is highly recommended. Ensure the vehicle's power is disconnected before starting the installation process.

4.1 Pre-Installation Check

  1. Confirm vehicle compatibility (Mazda 6 Rui Wing 2007-2012).
  2. Ensure all package contents are present.
  3. Disconnect the negative terminal of the car battery.

4.2 Removal of Original Stereo

  1. Carefully remove the trim panels surrounding the original stereo using appropriate tools.
  2. Unscrew and detach the original stereo unit.
  3. Disconnect all wiring harnesses and antenna cables from the original unit.

4.3 MISONDA Unit Installation

  1. Connect the provided wiring harnesses (Power Socket A, Power Socket B, RCA outputs) to the MISONDA head unit and the vehicle's corresponding connectors.
  2. Install the GPS antenna in a location with a clear view of the sky (e.g., dashboard, under the windshield).
  3. Connect the DAB antenna and route its cable appropriately.
  4. If installing the rear camera, route its cable from the back of the vehicle to the head unit and connect it to the designated input.
  5. Connect the Canbus decoder to the vehicle's Canbus wiring as per the specific wiring diagram (refer to additional instructions if provided).
  6. Mount the MISONDA head unit into the dashboard opening using the provided installation brackets and custom frame.
  7. Secure the unit with screws.
  8. Reinstall the trim panels.

4.4 Post-Installation

  1. Reconnect the car battery's negative terminal.
  2. Power on the unit and perform initial setup.

5. Initial Setup

5.1 First Power On

Upon first power-on, the system may take a moment to boot. Follow any on-screen prompts for initial language and time zone settings.

5.2 Network Connection (WiFi / 4G)

  • WiFi: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. Select your desired network and enter the password.
  • 4G: Insert a compatible SIM card into the designated slot (if applicable). The unit should automatically detect the network. Verify mobile data is enabled in Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network.

5.3 GPS Setup

Ensure the GPS antenna is properly connected and positioned. The system will automatically acquire satellite signals. You can verify GPS status in the navigation application settings.

6.1 Home Screen Navigation
